Musicians like Krist and Dave have a love-hate relationship with songs like Teen Spirit. On one hand, they hate it because its kinda overplayed and in some peoples opinion, overrated, but on the other hand, they hold it dear since its a massive piece of Nirvana and Kurt. Being from Aberdeen and followed Nirvana from the beginning this will always be a tear producing moment. Seeing Krist and Dave playing is beyond words! I have been 6' from Joan Jett in concert as well and yes! Perfect for this induction! Bumbershoot for the win! Find a better person for this will not happen, she should be in the HALL! Dave is today one of the best "human beings" on this planet and his legacy goes forward in his words. Krist is an advocate for many things and both of them played ( Dave) with their legend Paul McCartney on SNL. Just amazing, truly!

Everytime you see Dave on the drums playing this song, you can tell he's literally putting EVERYTHING he has into it, like it's the only way to deal with all of the pain that came from losing Kurt. He just puts every once of himself into those drums, and not a person on this planet can compare .
