Wonderful video. The Serbians are wise to preserve their history for future generations, even the less pleasant events.

Serbia is really fascinating. If I weren't so old, I would LOVE to visit there.

I am from Belgrade, but Nis is my favorite city in Serbia, because of so much history in a relatively small place, as well as great cuisine.

Constantine's villa is at the eastern edge of the city. There is a city bus that stops very near. Also there is a small, but very interesting archeological museum near city center. Nis is one of our favorites.

King milan of serbia was so jelous because of the bulgarian unification in 1885 ,that he ordered to his army to attack their neighbour but to the last moment didnt mention that they will fight brothers bulgarian but turks, and he said he will drink cofee with milk in Sofia the next day,but they were so badly and so fast defeated that the king left in such a hurry ,he left his HQ tent with his bell inside that he order cofee and food to his servants, the bell is in bulgaria history museum😂,in the end it was necessary austria hungary to tell bulgaria that if they dont leave belgrade(bulg army went into belgrade😂)austrian army will intervene, so we left, when the serbs attacked we thought that turkey will attack us so our army was on the southern border and first days of the war only old man and schoolboys were fighting the serbs ,while our soldiers did the impossible 3 day march to the front, never did since napoleon times and went into battle without sleeping....this was the so called war of captains against generals, because serbia was free from 40 years and had generals, while bulgaria was free from 7 years and had only captains in her troops😂

Nish and belgrade and many more cities in serbia were stolen from bulgaria ,the hungarians call belgrade the bulgarian white city, serbia before ottoman occupation was much more west and three times smaller, the history of nish is the history of bulgaria, here was bulgaria(by the way i am writing you from Vidin Bulgaria.....because of the vidin gate i mention this)
