Submerged in a world and culture of mind it can be a very lonely road on the journey to inner truth. Without a guide, sometimes I feel I'm going crazy, but I keep pushing through the veils of illusion to the deeper truth of "I Am". These teachings help me, without them, I would sometimes feel totally lost. Thank you 🙏

Timely, relevant, profound, and thank you! Namaste- To practice non-defining the ‘I am’ is to conform like water to a vessel. All things comprised of compounded aggregates are subject to impermanence (especially water)! Our default genetic mind program, (that is Monkey Mind) chronically fears uncertainty, mostly because changes are not always pleasant. And Oh! the stories we create when things change … and the stories get dark, too dark to see. Being your own Light is all that one can control and maintain a balanced mind. But, we all earn our dessert, and Karma is a corrective force that when given space for the Universe to operate in, can have restorative affect and profound impression on one’s psyche/mind.
@jannie6359 Жыл бұрын
This would be my Aspiration. To spend my waking minutes in awareness, all the time. Aware of anything i might be doing. Aware of my mind creating steps and structure while i work, then its done its job and can move on. Emotions are stickier. Require more effort because until i can have them without resistance, they repeat their message. So those take more awareness for me than directing thought. The mind is useful for daily life in hand with awareness. Emotions can sometimes seem totally random.

There are 2 types of meditation. Single pointedness and analytical meditation. Single pointedness meditation means diverting your attention only on one any single object. Second one is analysing raising questions on any object or anything from various different angles, this meditation is more powerful than the 1st one. While meditating few things you need to pay focus on are awareness- know what you exactly doing, attenrive and stay alert.
