I think guddis character is believeable. Being someone who has gone through hardships in life appearing vulnerable makes a person think of himself/herself even more vulnerable. So guddi tries to be jolly and tries not to even seem like a bechari, to someone who is in pain or in hardships such attitide often upholds the self esteem for the person himself/herself. And to point out when she is washing clothes she has this urge tp fight tai but she doesnt remembering her sister saying k paiso ki zaroorat hai. She has that all inside but she doesnt feel like showing it to the world. From that perspective it felt believeable to me.

Bikhray moti is heart breaking yet very important. We need such dramas to educate our people about such important taboo topics. About that guy who assaulted Janu, at first,yes, janu did hallucinate him but now he's actually working as a guard at his new school. He came to Karachi right after the incidence. The reason of showing this coincidence I guess is to give closure to what he did to Janu. He'd try and do that again because he escaped it once and his victim is scared of him but this time Aida will find out and get him punished (hopefully)!

Muqaddar: Raima has accepted her fate because she is left with no option, but that doesn't indicate her love for Saif (filhaal). She is unhappily compromising with her husband because she is powerless in the situation. I'm assuming that now after getting pregnant she will fall in love with Saif which is VERY wrong. Raima should NEVER EVER love the person who kidnapped her and forced her to marry. Muqaddar is a very problematic drama. It is glorifying forced marriage and marital rape / sexual assault. Raima had to marry Saif because obviously she was threatened and left with no option. Saif forced her to have a physical relation with him right after their marriage. Now they are showing that how Raima is accepting everything that has been happening to her. That's so so problematic. This is definitely the real world story but the problem is they are showing an independent and strong woman accepting her fate and not even taking stand for herself and falling in love with the person who forced her to marry and then sexually assaulted her. So Amna, Muqaddar is not grey. It's problematic. Would appreciate if Hassan also watch Muqaddar so that we can have your opinion too

I respectfully disagree, in literally every episode since raima came to live with them, abeera and farkhunda have both multiple times offered to help her escape and obviously share her need to leave saif. The actual problem is that the writer can’t decide if she’s the helpless victim or the dutiful 2nd wife aiming to make space for herself in her husband’s life. Like raima u r not the only victim, farkhunda as the first wife has also been wronged. She should’ve sought their help to escape, I mean 3 women and the nephew can’t outwit 1 saif ur Rahman???

Pausing the video on 14th min and commenting , Amna I think you have forgotten the episode where Raima gets married , Saifu comes in , talks to her about forgetting her past etc then holds her hand. She resists , and tries to take her hand out of his but he grips it tightly with a stern look on his face , all through that scene Raima has tears in her eyes while she struggles to release her hand from his. Scene ends. For me that was clear enough indication that he imposed himself on her without her will. She WAS sexually assaulted that night. Now back to your review🙂.

I want to share a true story here about someone I know personally. There was a decent man lived in the village of district Jhelum. Have a decent job in govt sect. He was married to a girl and they had normal married life as far as seen by surrounding people. This girl or woman had some habit of meeting some man or you can say affair with someone and her parents thought may be this is teenage effect and she will straighten her path after getting married. Initial years of marriage seemed normal to everyone . They got 1 girl and 2 boys. Apparently every thing was normal. The mother of that man sometimes use to say that this woman want to kill her. Once this woman gave tea to her mother in law and mother in law felt the taste unusual and then started vomiting after drinking it. The wife throws away the cup and broke it. Everybody in house ignore the incident and took it as nothing. Husband use to work in city . He use to come home fortnightly or sometimes monthly. One day he came in weekend as usuall. His mother by that time already passed away. There was marriage in family in those days. Next day all family remain busy in marriage ceremony but they notice that this man was not in ceremony when they returned home they asked from the wife about her husband to which she reply that he had gone back to job. Everybody was little surprised but nobody took it suspiciously as there was nothing suspicious in their mind. Next day family members noticed a bad smell in the house but they didn't able to figure out from where it is coming. The wife of that man suggests that smell may be due to some dead rodent. By same day she went to her mother along with her children's. Next day smell increased in intensity and family members noticed that it was coming from store room which usually remained locked. They opened the store room and found that it was coming from mettalic trunk which was used to store blankets and linen. When they open the trunk it was shocking for all the family that in trunk was tied dead body of this man who according to his wife went back to job. Whole family and neighborhood was in shock as this was 1st and one of its kind brutal murder in that vicinity. Nobody could believe that such a thing can happen to a man living simple and decent life. That woman's mother know about her daughter but she kept the mistakes of her daughter secret leading to this terrible end. This woman flee initially later on caught by police, court proceedings continued for many years and as victims family cannot continue to pursue the case due to financial restraints that murderer woman Is now free and happily married to her lover.
