I just made this, and it came out delicious. I added 2 cloves of garlic and 2 tbsp of chopped shallots. At the end, I felt that it could be a little sweet and sour, so I halved a handful of cherry tomatoes and added them to the dal after turning off the heat. It was a good addition. Thank you!

Laakh laakh dhanyavad Nishaji! We just prepared it exactly how you have mentioned in the recipe. Magar thhoda sa change kiya. Instead of 2 green chillies, we put 4 as we both love our food very spicy. Also, towards the end, we added 1 chhoti chamach sugar. We had this with rotis. Ek baar phir, laakh laakh shukriya, Nishaji!

dear madam have been following ur cooking recepies regularly in the said recepie i found that the chana daal had not cooked as per the instructions given i had soaked the daal over night as well but after 5 mins of cooking after the first whistle the daal still remained uncooked so u have to cook it a min of 5 whistles after the first whistle n gas on sim rest great recepie
