dude I'm going crazy trying to get to where you are I just bought a novation launch key,,, when I already have your set up (with MPK MINI AND FOCUS RITE normally I use a sustainer pedal for ableton record macro), and I cannot get anything to record with a button press PLEASE EXPLAIN OR DM OR MAKE A VIDEO ON HOW im doing performances on Ableton intro which literally sounds doo doo compared to logic, Just tell me how to switch tracks and start recording with a bar before the recording starts please save me years are SCHIzo attitude towards my gear

Hey! Thanks for your comment. Check this tutorial out: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fYbEg3Z4p7d_Y8k :) It will teach you how to use the MPK Mini's pads as controls for the Live Looping features. I simply use the arrow keys on my MacBook to switch between tracks. I'm not sure if you can have a bar precede the recording in a live setting. You could always prerecord bits that you can't organise into the live arrangement and add them to the final mix! Hope this helps :D

Hey, thanks so much for your comment! The video was recorded using a standard camera, while the audio was recorded through my audio interface and MacBook. What you are hearing is the .wav file I created after bouncing my live session from Logic Pro (I replaced the audio captured by my camera's microphone by this .wav file, allowing me to maintain a higher level of sound quality). Hope this helps! :)

Hey mate nice loops! Have you experienced issues with latency between loops? My logic says analysing transients and it creates a little gap that can be pretty annoying for performance..

Thank you man! Sorry for the late reply 😅 yes, I have experienced latency issues. I had to use flex on my master to ensure the video and audio were in sync actually. Couldn't think of any other solution.

Hey, of course, thank you for your comment! 😄 Here is some information to get you started: I started by learning about Logic Pro Live Loops (here is a link to a tutorial I used: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fZqpZJV9nb2Bjpo). After this, I essentially programmed a few of the pads on my midi keyboard to control the live looping controls (here is a link to a tutorial I used: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fYbEg3Z4p7d_Y8k). After that it's just a matter of practicing the routine until you're comfortable recording it :) Hope this helps!
