You'll want to check out RockAuto for the Hitachi or NTK brand. The rear sensors are different from the front so you need to make sure you read the descriptions.

Hi Anthony! Thank you so much for your help earlier! I got the p1286 code but it says fuel pulse range lower in range but lower than expected. I managed to clean all 4 o2 sensors with carb and maf cleaner and still getting the code :( do u think it could be fuel regulator? Or should I just get a new o2 for sensor 1 bank 2?

@@deelee3452 I would try a new sensor at this point and do an ECU reset.

Anthony great tutorial on Down Stream Sensor removal and cleaning. I noticed that you have a long bun/tube to screw the O2 into. Doesn't that prevent the O2 from reaching the exhaust stream and getting accurate readings? I usually see alot of O2 extenders when trying to defeat a Check Engine Light related to emissions issues.

Car is tuned with UPREV, it only pays attention to the air/ fuel ratio sensors pre catalytic converter.

@@AnthonyJ350 Okay, So what is the purpose of the Down Stream 02 Sensors. Don't they report to PCM adjust any strategies. Perhaps only for the Catalytic Efficiency monitoring? P0420 & P0430 DTCs.

@@AnthonyJ350 Reason I'm asking is because I have been chasing the infamous P0420 Catalytic Efficiency Bank 1 for months now. I did find a vacuum leak in one of the valve covers and repaired it. The Fuel Trims are now nominal but the DTC keeps coming back. I believe that lean running due the vacuum leak was making the Fuel Trims peg rich. That might have caused Converter contamination/failure. The bun extension is a way in some cars to circumvent the P0420, but I'm not sure if it also applies to the VQ35 Revup motor?

It's up stream. They call them air/ fuel ratio sensor as opposed to "O2". Use NTK or Denso brand.

One more question, Anthony, so one of my factory connectors are broken more specifically the housing, the o2 sensor plugs in but won’t stay in without some metal wire to hold it in place. Do you know where I can get the replacement or buy an aftermarket oem spec one that i can splice in?

What are the symptoms for a bad o2 sensor. My cel light has been on for awhile. I thought it was because of my test pipes but I've noticed a slight decrease in throttle response and acceleration. Would a bad o2 sensor cause this?

Poor fuel economy is usually the case with a check engine light.

Hi, so I have a 370z w long tube headers exhaust and tune. Recently the service engine light came on with P0137 also noticed poor fuel economy. Would it be smart to just go ahead and replace o2 censor?

I would check for leaks and then change the sensor. Also verify you don't have a vacuum leak.

It might, that's why it's highly recommended to get the car tuned after the install.

Car started life in California then came to Vancouver Canada. I guess it never saw winter, just rain. I will be making a rust proofing video end of summer for you guys. Also when I bought the car I sprayed a bunch of areas with clear coat to protect it, but you don't realize I sprayed it.
