Have a 2004 with very similar issues, that is definitely in the design. The rear wheel arch plastic parts just don't cover enough. For the shield at the rear right (emissions shield 75520U) had to go to Nissan, £80, but mine was worse. Haven't dropped my rear subframe yet to do in front so great to know what to expect.

@@RoadandRacetv back to form, brother! Great editing, good camera work, and interesting work. Loved the video! Only request: please narrate a bit more what you are doing or what the parts are. I know for you and maybe lots of your viewers this is likely all old hat, but you have some newbies watching too who’d love to learn a bit at least through osmosis. Keep it up, man! Think about maybe releasing a Road & Race beanie? Everyone’s got a ton of tshirts, but we still want to look fly.

@@AB0BA_69 Big thanks Lev. Will try to narrate more in the future. Merchandising you say....maybe. Not sure may people would buy it though?
@AB0BA_693 жыл бұрын
@@RoadandRacetv serious answer: merch is optional and I think in your case it would be just something to do for fun. There are sites like TeeSpring that don’t require money from you to upload a custom design for an item that will be created on demand. At minimum I recommend you get some branded gear you can wear in your videos. Both to see if people ask about it and to further promote your brand. At minimum like a tshirt, work gloves, and beanie with channel logo. Printful might be a place to start because they can sell you singles. Again, think about it like a fun experiment first and you won’t over invest orbe disappointed with results. Also I have nothing to sell/push, I’m just a random internet fan. Sites I listed are just examples and you may be able to find options better suited to EU if most of your audience is from EU instead of USA.

Awesome video m8, I would love to do the same to my 350 to the extend you're doing it. I've been doing some work on my rear wheel arches, they were rusted pretty bad. My advice is check de arches very well because the undercoating can easily fool you, especially where the plastic piece sits (4:52) and it collects lots of dirt at the bottom. I am using caprotech rx5,rx7 and rx10 to treat the rust. Keep it up👍

I love working on the Zeds. My 350 was a pleasure and a clutch change in my 370 was the easiest car I've ever worked on. I'm astonished to see how much corrosion is on your car. Had it been stored on grass or a wet floor for a long time ? The oxidization of the aluminium components seem to indicate long exposure to moisture too.
