Great to see you working on the 350z again. I’ve got the same year and colour and the underside was in a very similar state before I treated it all with the Bilt Hamber products although I had to do it on the drive which meant it was a lot harder and took even longer :-) My rear wheel arches weren’t as bad though!

Have a 2004 with very similar issues, that is definitely in the design. The rear wheel arch plastic parts just don't cover enough. For the shield at the rear right (emissions shield 75520U) had to go to Nissan, £80, but mine was worse. Haven't dropped my rear subframe yet to do in front so great to know what to expect.

@@RoadandRacetv serious answer: merch is optional and I think in your case it would be just something to do for fun. There are sites like TeeSpring that don’t require money from you to upload a custom design for an item that will be created on demand. At minimum I recommend you get some branded gear you can wear in your videos. Both to see if people ask about it and to further promote your brand. At minimum like a tshirt, work gloves, and beanie with channel logo. Printful might be a place to start because they can sell you singles. Again, think about it like a fun experiment first and you won’t over invest orbe disappointed with results. Also I have nothing to sell/push, I’m just a random internet fan. Sites I listed are just examples and you may be able to find options better suited to EU if most of your audience is from EU instead of USA.

Awesome video m8, I would love to do the same to my 350 to the extend you're doing it. I've been doing some work on my rear wheel arches, they were rusted pretty bad. My advice is check de arches very well because the undercoating can easily fool you, especially where the plastic piece sits (4:52) and it collects lots of dirt at the bottom. I am using caprotech rx5,rx7 and rx10 to treat the rust. Keep it up👍

I love working on the Zeds. My 350 was a pleasure and a clutch change in my 370 was the easiest car I've ever worked on. I'm astonished to see how much corrosion is on your car. Had it been stored on grass or a wet floor for a long time ? The oxidization of the aluminium components seem to indicate long exposure to moisture too.

I need to do this so so so so badly on one of my cars. Need a lift :(
@RoadandRacetv

Yeah, having a lift makes this possible. I don't think I'd be able to do it using axle stands,

@@RoadandRacetv exactly. I have jackstands and can get axle stands, but it's just not worth it to spend weeks on end laying on the cold floor. My garage ceiling is too low for a lift :( might have to get a bit creative lol

I’ve just discovered this channel and don’t know much about these cars and I’m quite literally stunned with the bad bodywork condition,this is 80’s fiat territory,I’ve just dug out an inspection pit in my garage to start looking after my 97 bmw e36 and it’s 100% in better condition than this.
