I bought a 2019 all-black 370Z sport coupe 6M and love the car. My car is the base model with the sport package, that also includes the Bose enhanced audio plus front and back aero body work. I think that the sport package version is the best value for a driver's oriented sports car. I flushed the stock Nissan gearbox oil out at 5K miles and replaced it with some Redline MTL 75W-85 gear oil for a smoother, less notchy feel when shifting. I'm hitting 20K miles on my car now with no problems.

That's awesome! It's incredible to hear that even after 5k miles, swapping the gearbox fluid with the Redline made a big difference. That was the first thing I did when I picked mine up, but it had 90k on the clock so I figured it was just because the fluid was old - but I guess that's sort of how they come out of the box lol. Enjoy yours - sounds like an awesome example you've got!

Hey Jim! Good to hear you are enjoying your car. I have a 2010 base 370z 6M and also love my car. bought with low miles, it was a weekend car for the first 2 owners. So you flushed the stock gearbox oil.. is that the clutch reservoir next to the brake fluid reservoir on the driver side under the hood? i noticed my shifts are being a little notchy haha. and i am willing to do the same thing

@@MrChips005 Yes, the clutch master cylinder reservoir is next to the brake master cylinder reservoir. I had my brake fluid flushed at about 18k miles, it was dark. I had the stock rubber brake lines replaced with a set of Teflon core stainless steel braided lines and the fluid replaced with StopTech extra high temp DOT 4 fluid. The brakes are a little firmer and more responsive now.

Hey Tyler.. thanks for the review. i have a 2010 370z base, no sport brakes or upgraded suspension. i put the same spoiler on myself :) though a couple things bother me about the car, the things i enjoy about it far outweigh the little things i don't. Great entry-to-mid level sports car. Sorry to hear you gave up the 370 but i like the corvette on this channel too. keep it up and be well :)

Thank you! Yeah overall I appreciate the 370Z for the things I did enjoy about it - for me it was a teenage dream come true, and I'm glad that I lived it! I hope you enjoy your 370Z in good health. Thank you for supporting me and my channel - looking forward to sharing more of my experiences with the Corvette with you in future vids!

Thank you man. i grew up loving all the Nissan platforms.. 240sx, 300zx, 350z, skyline GT-R. And i have grown to love all kinds of cars because of my initial interest in imports. Be well and keep following your heart

Does your left hand drive model have a A code engine like a Nismo ? mine does Keen you know if your engine number has a A after it . Cheers

@TexasRealEstate4 жыл бұрын
Awesome! Well, I recently sold mine unfortunately! So for some reason it didn't occur to me that there was a way to figure out what number mine was. I've seen it on the Nismo's which have a plaque, but how do you check that on the 40th Anniversary editions?

@@TexasRealEstate Aw darn! Well if you still remember the VIN# just type it in on a link that I can give you. I think it will remove/report my comment on KZbin if I put it here. I've been itching to see if anyone had build #1 😂😂 I can DM you it on Instagram if you would like!
