​@ranbymonkeys2384 something like a broken trace on that ribbon cable would be difficult to see even if you were right in front of it. It could be cracked anywhere along the ribbon or where the ribbon connects where the wires plug in and you would have to probably ohm it out with a multimeter. It would probably be an intermittent connection that would sometimes work and other times wouldn't work.
