Haha cut short... Good luck on the repairs man, I love watching your frontier videos.

Thanks man Appreciate the feedback. Should be fixed soon as soon as I figure out how to disassemble the whole front wheel assembly.

Awesome video frontier in some mud is always fun, but that’s what sucks about that hitting or running over random stuff you can’t see. I remember going to a local mud hole and this one run only about 40 feet I went through it just fine, but the guy behind me in a Jeep popped both his passenger side tires on a rock I was just inches from it couldn’t even see it because it was under water. Safe trip man can’t wait for the next one. 💪

Man that sucks for him but you got lucky. I probably won’t be doing any mudding for a while. I’m still cleaning mud out from under my truck. I’m doing rocks in my next video. Stay tuned Keep the rubber side down!

@@desertdudechannel same here. 😂 I got mud up underneath all my skid plates that’s been there for a while not causing any damage just haven’t made time to get under there and get it all out.

I’ve washed it three times now. Had to take one skid plate off. Still have mud everywhere 😂

Just curious what happened with the boot, did you just replace that?
@desertdudechannel2 жыл бұрын
Yeah I did but I deleted the video of the replacement. It only costed me 70$ for a new made in Japan boot from Nissan. It comes with all the clips and the grease too! I deleted the video because it wasn’t getting views!

Kinda off topic but what did you use to plug your holes when you removed your roof rack?
@desertdudechannel4 жыл бұрын
Good question and it’s on topic. Mine didn’t come with the roof rack. I got the cheaper version of the truck. There are 2 versions of the truck and mine was cheaper to buy so I went with the cloth seats, no moon roof, no roof rack, no power seats for about 3k$ less.
@dannyg56364 жыл бұрын
@@desertdudechannel hmm....I'm guessing you guys in the states have that option because I haven't seen that in Canada mine is a base pro4x cloth and manual seats aswell but it came with the rack and the sun roof and as far as I could tell here unless its extended cab pro4x, they all have the rack. Is yours pre drilled to add the rack?
@desertdudechannel4 жыл бұрын
Hmmm you may be right but so far I’ve only seen the rack with leather seats. There are some videos where they remove the rack but I probably wouldn’t recommend it because of the damage it may leave. Mine has no drilling on top. I’d have to drill mine to install the rack. You’re better off keeping the rack or trading the truck for one without.

I see most people cover them by welding. But this means you’ll never be able to use it again. I drilled the holes in my Xterra. Not sure why Nissan didn’t put the holes with covers to give owners the option like other manufacturers...

Yep the rack should be modular like the truck bed.
