Wasee Rahman actually you can not compare a GTR with Carrera S . Porche has more than 1000 torque. That means is super fast !!! GTR has only 700-750. Power relation to torque is not good on GTR. The power give a nice start but then is dead. If you are let’s say 50miles an hour and you accelerate then even BMW is faster than GTR. GTR next model needs more torque for sure to do the race again!!

Looks like they did not launch the BMW properly, it should have lost (est 1/4 is around 10.8-10.9, which is more than the 560hp 991 911, and about the same as the GT-R (unless you go for Nissan marketing that never have been reproduced). But it should have been keeping up 0-60 with the other two, and then lost out 60-130. So same outcome but the launch in the BMW was horrible (carwow have demonstrated before they don't know how to launch BMW ... M4 GTS they were spinning all the way to 60, and the M5 vs E63s it looked like they where not even trying to launch it).

The Porsche is almost 2 generations old at this point and is far more impressive - more so on a circuit. And beyond the 911 is of much higher quality (fit, finish, materials) and is actually a better riding car (much better dampening and rebound matched to spring rates).

It was fun but I do wonder if the rolling race is in part determined by the gear ratios. Matt has also previously said that the cars aren't in sport as no-one uses that. I'm not sure that's true, I push my DSG into sport if I'm thinking of overtaking, just to make sure I'm safely past the other car as soon as possible. However, still a channel I enjoy :-)

Plus you'd then need a race track in the UK that would let you film there, equally skilled drivers to make the race fair, film crew etc. I think Carwow do a great job, but they're not Top Gear or Fifth Gear (with a big budget) and do fantastic races and reviews. Plus doing what they do gives you a good idea of what these cars would be like on the streets, race tracks are nothing like driving on the roads. At most, its drags away from traffic lights or down motorways.

It makes a better launch from standstill because it is all wheel drive and the M5 is RWD. But at roll race the stock M5 has kept with the tuned GTR !! If the M5 was tuned...

How many times do you need to understand the logic on Nissan GT-R? 1. The car is heavy 1780 Kg. (Bugatti Veyron is also 100 kg heavier than GT-R), because of more grip the on-road, better handling and cornering like a lightning. 2. AWD-system on the car, ridiculous acceleration *Quick reaction on the car (instant)* 0-100 km/t 2.8 sec (0-62 mph 2.7 sec). *Same as a Bugatti Veyron 2.5 sec*. 3. Nissan GT-R is more capable on Track, with sticky tires like Dunlops. It'll kill almost all the supercars on the track. 4. And also Nissan GT-R is also a daily used car for shopping, can also drive in every season (with summer tires & winter tire). Last thing before I say enough, the 1. Gen GT-R shocks every other European sportscar manufactures when they testing at the Nurburgring.
