Nissan GTR R35 Tomei Exhaust Install

In today's video the group install a Tomei Expreme Ti (titanium) on a Nissan GTR R35. We managed to turn a complicated 11 hour install into a 6 minute video. Hope you enjoy!

The brand of the valve delete box is Armytrix. Works perfect, since the first start up the car has had no check engine light with it.

Hey I recently got the same exhaust on, with stock downpipes and I’m seeing metal shards or glitter like particles coming out of my exhaust. Have u been experiencing the same thing? Is this normal?

Nope, we didn't experience that and still haven't. The glitter like particles could be contaminants when welding the exhaust which is normal, or debris in the exhaust pipes when they were being made. We're from Canada!

Did you put back original carbon bottom cover? or can't install?

Yes we put it back on after, just didnt get it on camera. Still fits flush and clean, just like it did with the OEM exhaust.

i just changed my stock exhaust(2020) and i can't get rid of the check engine light ... it's says something about (valve) .. i forgot what it's says .i put the stock exhaust back on until i found the issue... where did you get the valve delete?

We purchased the valve delete from Vivid Racing, the brand is Armytrix. CEL should go away after you install it!

How did you guys bypass the valve system on the stock exhaust with no check engine light?

We purchased an Armytrix valve delete box from Vivid Racing. We just unplugged the stock one and swapped it with the Armytrix box and got no CEL. No tune or anything needed.

Yeah haha. Install was straight forward but we wanted the exhausts positioning to be perfect. Ocd kicked in big time.

It took us much longer than expected lol. We now have a track edition GTR equipped with the Tomei. We will compare sound clips of this spring.

@@kevncars. yes… I run Ti mid pipe and Akra and sound is perfect… quiet on low rpm and sings at 5000 and up..My set up with FBO etc is perfect

How’s the cabin noise after the exhaust install?

@@hairongwu9359 Sorry for the late response, the cabin noise was virtually non existent. It just sounded much much deeper in the cabin but no drone or crazy loudness or anything. If you rolled the windows down then it was pretty loud but it wasn’t ear piercing loud.
