Worst design how do you know if the filter takes its shape after you squeeze it into place, Nissan has to rethink this, it should slide in and out without squeezing.

Get the one that fits. You can buy from anywhere. Getting a higher quality one will last longer. Especially if you've been affected by these Forest fires.

When I removed the filter I didn't look to see which way the arrow for the airflow was facing so is it supposed to face the engine or inside the vehicle? Thanks for the video

According to my filter, orientation matters in regard to air flow direction, when placing the filter. Gotta do some more googling to make sure I've got the right direction, but I'm assuming the air flow INTO the cabin, hence the need for a filter. It's weird cause the thing seems pretty much identical on both sides. Thanks again.

Yea it’s a pain finding one aftermarket- might have to get one at a dealer , part # is 27891-5RB0A. It’s a new model so sometimes takes a while for them to go aftermarket

Thanks for the tip and showed where it is. I actually got it replaced for the first time since my car is just a year old. But I was wondering if I do the replacement myself for the cabin filter and engine filter, will that mess up the warranty considering dealerships always want the service done with them. I normally change these filters on my old car but can I do it with the new car without affecting the warranty?

Shouldn’t really be a problem unless they can prove you never did the service. I recommend you keep receipts and log the date and miles at which the service was done by yourself.

Where did you all buy your filters from? Amazon off brand? Amazon and Nissan parts want over $50.00 for the paper filter. Other brands only cost $14.00. That filter does not look like it is worth over $50.00.

I would say the airflow blows towards the passengers. So you would arrow that way
