I had a 2012 Prius V with the tech package that did the same. It should be an option on every car by now

It practically is its not completely yk hands free like this but most vehicles typically have 360 surround camera and yk do the job

My i3 parallel parks itself too. Can't really see the point of auto nose in parking, though.

The BWW EV? Nice one! Yes, sometimes it's easier to simply park yourself, often faster and less hassle. This was some of the first automation I experienced in cars, and now we have full self drive and autonomous vehicles on their way.

We had it in our Nissan Qashquai, and we used it maybe 3 times, as the 360-degree camera makes parking very easy.

Presumably because they supposed drivers would not monitor the surroundings and then successfully sue Nissan on the odd occasion that there was a collision.
