I agree, Emkwan. It is a luxury, four door sports car. Nothing says style, power, and sophistication like a brand new Maxima. I am so impressed with the quality of these cars.

Just picked a brand new one up today!! It has the sport package with the dipped black rims. Very fast and I was impressed with the ride quality on the highway and in the city. I did not care for the CVT in my previous Altima but I am much happier with the transmission with my V6 Maxima. The Altima was sluggish but the Maxima is fast and smooth!! Awesome shifting in sport mode as well. Very comfortable seats and the rear spoiler adds to the sportiness of the car. A great combination of style, comfort, sportiness, and practicality. Great car!!

What car is he reviewing? The 2009-2014 Maximas don't have those LED strips on the front bumper and do not do 5.1 seconds 0-60. I love my Maxima but I can't find this bumper on any stock Maxima.

I've only gotten about 5.7 to 60 but it's possible they could be running more TQ over there in the Max which is why he's not boasting stating the time but casually mentions it. I have no reason to doubt it's possible but I've never seen below 5.7 GPS verified on my 0-60 launches.

Im sold .. great review! I will be getting one soon too.. Although I still am a little skeptical about the CVT .. had one of those in Altima before and found it bit boring .. I mean its very comfortable but took the fun out of driving really. Hopefully the V6 engine makes the transmission easier to live with One thing though .. are those DRL (LEDs) stock?

believe it or not the 2013 Altima is better..i went to the dealer to buy the maxima 2013 but i ended up test driving both..The Altima was faster,smoother and quieter then the Maxima..the Altima has 20 less horse power but being the the car is lighter it really beat the maxima..see for yourself on youtube.just look up Maxima vs Altima 2013..

Jnevone DSF I have an 00, 03 and an 09 and I have raced against all of them against one another and here is the truth: 00 is the slowest, 03 is very quick but the 09 owns both of them. I raced a 350Z from a dig and on the roll and I've smoked them with ease, the 370 however eats me for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
