What's up bro on 4:05 is it hard to get to the back up lamp connector without removing too much? When I bought the car the previous owner told me they changed the clutch but didn't put back or didn't do something right.... because my reverse lights always stay on... let me know what you think thanks

Should be easy to get to. Probably just need to remove the air intake which is easy. I have a stainless still clutch line so I didn't have any clutch lines in the way, but you, might. Have you looked at it since yesterday?

@TheSundaeDrive6 жыл бұрын
He never responded to us. I'm guessing the battery was possibly old and during the time it took him to do the swap it died. Starter is also a possibility too. Changing the transmission should not cause this as long as you reconnect everything

This generation and the previous one ALL rot out at the lower center radiator support. Where the cross member and front motor mount attach to with the 2 bolts onto the radiator support, right where the guy removes the two bolts at 8:53 and said "I don't know how these bolts work any more." Well they DON'T and the reason they are flat is because everything under those bolts where they attach to on the radiator support is completely rotted. You can see the rot dust on the tip of those bolts, so basically the front motor mount sitting on top of that front cross member has ZERO support and the bolts are flat and look rusty because of the engine mount constantly bouncing on the rotted radiator support attached to that cross member with the two bolts. It rots out right there in that exact location under the cross member! Because of this when my clutch goes I will junk the car and will NEVER again buy a Maxima because Nissan always knew about this problem and continued to produce 2 generations and never recalled them. I have owed both generations and am disgusted with what they did. As a result they have lost me as a customer for life. If you have to pay a body shop to replace the radiator support the shop will charge about $3000. My car is worth a lot less then that, so I refuse to pay for a repair that cost more then the car is worth. Only after this repair is made can I go ahead and replace the clutch which will be an additional cost. NISSAN SUCKS!!!! AND I HOPE TO SEE THE DAY THEY GO OUT OF BUSINESS OR GO DOWN JUST LIKE GM HAS GONE DONE!!!!! The last GM car I drove was before 1995 when they started to go downhill and I promised NEVER again to buy one and I kept my promise. You can see what is going on with them today. I am now saying and doing the same with NISSAN. So the Bottom Line is this: for those who still own this Nissan generation AND the previous one...….if you here something loose every time you drive over bumps coming from some where in the front end IT IS COMING FROM THE LOWER CENTER RADIATOR SUPPORT UNDER THE CROSS MEMBER WHERE THE TWO LARGE BOLTS COME OUT OF (PS* under the cross member if your looking at the car from underneath and top of the cross member if your looking at the car from top )
