Nissan Navara 2012 tekna review with common 4wd fault | Calvin's Car Diary

We've just had this 2012 Nissan navara 2500 diesel tekna come in and I decided to do a quick review on it. There's a common fault with these, if the 4 wheel drive light flashes when you switch over to 4 wheel drive then you have a problem. It can sometimes be just the 4wd diff lock switch that needs replacing but in other cases it can be as much as £800 for a new diff or transfer box. They're lovely cars but I mention in the vid that if you're a builder and you need a van, I know the idea of having one of these is nice but in reality they don't fit the same purpose of a van.

Before you do reviews read the bloody manual of the vehicle. The gearbox should be in neutral before it selects low range 4x4... its a safety feature built in for kids who play with bottons. It will never select to lo-4x4 in gear... I know I own a v9x/stx550 navara for the past 9 years
