These comprehensive reviews are great for the many people who can neither afford or are attracted to new cars, but want good and solid information about these older models. For people interested in older cars(like me), these reviews are like old newspapers, slightly out dated but all the more interesting because of it! Great reviews for the buyer in the second hand market, We are very fortunate to have them available for us to veiw to help make an informed decision on our next used car purchase. Thank you car and driving.

Nissan Note E11 from 2006, I've had it for 11 years now, second owner, it has been a reliable car for me.

Had a 1.6 N-Tec auto for the last 11 years. Brilliant car, comfortable, roomy and pleasant to drive. Never let me down on the road. Only gripe is the cheap little satnav which proved a tad temperamental for a time. I keep thinking I should buy something more modern but the old girl does everything I need and does it well. Here's to another year with her!

I just bought this exact model. 2013 1.4 and can relate to this review, which is spot on in every respect. The only thing I haven't been able to verify is fuel consumption as I only just bought it. I paid a premium for mine due to its very low mileage, history and one ownership, but even at the five grand I paid, it's superb value and surprisingly fun to drive. Not something I was expecting. The only criticism I'd level at it is that at 70mph it starts to sound a bit revvy and feels like it could do with a 6th gear, but I imagine this is just the nature of this sort of car, and is more noticeable to me having previously owned a 2 litre diesel. Highly recommend it

I bought a 2006 Honda Jazz sport 1339cc in October 116k miles, paid £2300. Was also wondering about mpg. Check handbook. On mine press trip computer couple times and gives mpg option for the trip. So I've monitored and got 34mpg stop start town, 56 mpg extra urban, and today did a 35 mile trip 44mpg bit hilly in parts.

I just one of these 2013 1.4 petrol n Teck great car BUT IT HAS A COMMON PROBLEM wiring on the rear door no number plate light, no rear wiper took it to my local garage who told me it was a common problem the mechanic found 7 broken wires that he repaired £185 for 2 hours work. This is just a head up for potential Byers, so make sure you check this before you buy

Great review, as always - thanks. However, there are a few details you failed to talk about, namely: 1) In the facelifted model of the Note from 2010 to 2013, the 1.4 engine is a little more economical than the pre-facelift version. 48 MPG is a lot better than the 44 MPG fo the first model. 2) There was no mention of whether there is a spare wheel in the boot, under the lower shelf. Is there one, or is there not one? I'd like to know. 3) Is there a foot rest to the left of the clutch pedal, or at least a place to put your foot to the left of the clutch? 4) Does the drivers' seat adjust for height? 5) Do all trim levels include Air Con..?

By facelifted version, do you mean the MK2?
@timelwell70028 ай бұрын
@@ka5269 So far as I'm aware, the Mark 1 was sold in the UK from 2005 - 2013. There was a slight facelift in 2010, but under the bonnet there were changes, at least to the 1.4 litre manual transmission model. This gave improved fuel consumption from around 44 mpg to 48 mpg. Also, there were changes to the dashboard on the facelifted model, with a digital display installed. HOWEVER, the Mark 2 was in sold in the UK from 2014 onwards, and because Renault components were then used, the reliability became far more of an issue. The Mark 2 had a distinctively different body shape, whereas the Mark 1 pre-facelift and the facelifted versions look virtually identical from the outside. My advice (or rather the advice of the mechanics from the garage next door to me, who I see every day) is to avoid the Mark 2 Note (from 2014 onwards) like the plague, but they really like the Mark 1, both pre-facelift and facelifted versions.
