Very nice video. Nissan Note is an incredibly good car. One remark - you should have removed that beautiful and shiny watch from your hand before doing the work. ;)

Use clean oil on the new filter gasket. Change the sump gasket.

It sucks when you drop the drain plug in the used oil container. Ask me how I know :/ Also, not all the 5w30 oils are created equally, you better check oil specs for your car and buy the a oil which corresponds that specs. It's important especially on newer cars with variable valve timing etc. Another point is that 30K km is wayyy too much for an oil change. I believe 10K km is ideal if you want to keep the car for long time and I would never pass 15K km.

I agree with you, but 30k is the range Nissan states.

@@martinbaumer6230 Yes, same numbers are in my Megane's service book but let me tell you my Renault mechanic's comment on the topic (he worked for Renault 20+ years). The factory defines "economic service life" of these cars as 150k KM and 5 years. If you change your oil in every 30k, you may hit that 150k km mark with no problem but your engine will have some serious wear. So if you want the car to drive much more than that, you better change your oil in every 10k KM or 6 months. Also there are some KZbin channels that test used oil samples. You can check and see that even the best brand expensive oils losing their anti-wear properties and getting acidic after 10-12k KM.
