Si eu urmeaza sa fac un swap pe LJ70 , OM606 cu baie de 3.2 cdi, turbo Holset HX52, pompa mechanica urmeaza a fii modificata in interior la niste baieti din ungaria, punti y61 si ambreiaj de sprinter modificat pentru cutia originala De LJ70, plus inca cateva mici modificari pe parcurs .

Awesome build! I'm thinking about doing something similar. What gear ratio are you using in your differentials? DPUK was saying that that engine likes to live at 3000rpm at 70mph, so would it make sence that with 35 inch tires, and a .8 final ratio in the transmission the differential ratio would need to be 5.44? It would make spooling a big turbo a lot easier, but I think I'd also be changing gears a lot more often.

3000rpm at 70mph can be good if you dont live in germany 😅 my w124 is geared nearly exactly like that and for me its too high because my engine revs nearly always over 5k rpm on the autobahn😅

The powerband of the 606 starts at 2500-3000rpm and goes on till the limiter (stock 5500, with cdi valvesprings over 6000rpm possible)

Heavy 4x4 needs smaller turbo to have more instant power =>> better to have lower max power and better drivability. 👍🏻 Now you need to pump up the boost before releasing the clutch because of the big and slow turbo.

Cu siguranță dacă vrei foarte tare și ești dispus sa faci toate modificările indiferent câtă munca se cere pentru asta, sigur se poate, da nu cred ca asta ii motorul potrivit pentru Suzuki Samurai. Încearcă 1.9 tdi de la vw.
