Nice module and DYI trick for S&S, but mine I have reclined the hood sensor and not generate any DTC or malfunction and work for almost 4 year this way.

Yes me too on my previous QQ. But for alarm equipped cars (UK and so on) it isn't possible like this AND your mechanic will see the errors in his computer as well. I thought it was a nice solution for this new car ;)

just to comment that it really does not matter which way you insert that fuse holder - it will work both ways (with wire going up or down)... the only difference that S/S module will stop working if original 5A fuse blows if you have fuse holder with wire going down - but i assume you would need to change 5A fuse anyway when it blows ))

Hi Pavel, thanks for your comment. Well yes and no.... it will work indeed but this is not how the piggyback fuseholder is designed to work. 😉 if you put it the other way around the current always flows to both fuses and when it goes wrong both fuses will blow indeed. However, when you put it the right way both circuits are seperated and only the fuses of the shorted circuit will blow. 😉

Hi! I think you could tap the 12V on another source at well in the fuse box right (next to the steering wheel for you that is). Ask the seller if he has some ideas in that. The link is in the description 😉

I does but you have to click on "More" just beneath the video to see the description and all the info. It's easier than in the video itself as you can always change this info later on while the video is harder to edit once published. Anyways, he does ship to the UK, no problem.

Hi! No, normally you have to press it every time you start the car in order to disable it but thanks to this module the last choice is active. So I disabled it once and now it’s always off. But if I want to change I can simply use the button on the dashboard. 😉

Hello, as-tu déjà eu des soucis depuis qu’il est installé ? J’ai installé le module la semaine passée et aujourd’hui le start and stop s’est réactivé sans avoir poussé sur le bouton ..

Est-ce que tu as utilisé des ScotchLok connectors (comme moi) ou est-ce que tu as soudé les fils? Une fois j’ai eu ce problème et apparemment c’était du au faux contact des ScotchLok après avoir travaillé derrière le panneau pour mes éclairages au pied. J’ai bougé un peu les fils et ça remarche comme avant. Duncho conseille d’ailleurs de souder.

@@LaPalmeraie0032 oui il m'avait préconisé de les souder mais j'ai opter pour la même solution que toi ( plus propre je trouve ), a part que je n'avais pas des ScotchLok connectors mais des simples connecteur bleu . ça doit surement être un faux contact comme tu dis, je vais réouvrir ce weekend pour vérifier . merci pour ta réponse

start & stop desactivable juste en shuntant les 2 fils du contacteur de capot moteur , un morceau de fil de 2cm suffit, besoin d'aucun boitier. déja 2 ans que je roule ainsi ;-)

Oui tout à fait ou même plus simple en inclinant tout simplement le contacteur de 90°. D’ailleurs j’en ai déjà une vidéo de cette manière sur ma chaîne si tu regardes ma playlist 😉 👊🏻 mais l’avantage de ce boîtier est qu’il n’y a aucun erreur dans le ordinateur de bord (genre tu roules avec le capot ouvert 😂) quand le garagiste branche son ordinateur et tu peux toujours changer la fonction quand tu veux et comme tu veux. Disons le jours où tu vois l’intérêt du stop/sta…. Ehh 🤔🤪

Save your money,I have been disabling customers stop start on qashqai J10+11 for quite some time now by simply unplugging the bonnet switch,no fault symbols no warning lights etc.

I know and i did as well on my previous QQ. You can find a video on that elsewhere in this playlist 😉 but I have to say that this module is a bit cleaner so to speak. Turning the bonnet switch generates errors on the BCM that the dealer sees when reading out the car. But both work 👌🏻
