My biggest issue with my 22 Rogue is with the A/C and heat. When working properly, I have different temps coming out of the vents on my driver's side vs the passenger side, 2 degrees warmer on my side. When not working properly, I have to turn my temp all the way down to LO to get cold air. Until I click it to LO, I get luke warm air. As the car is driven maybe 10 minutes, everything seems to work better. I've never had a car that does this. Nissan dealer did a "flash" or whatever, at first it seemed to actually fix it...but within a couple weeks, back to same issues I had before the "flash". Now I just live with the issue.

I've had my '22 Rogue for a few months, have noticed an irritating "whirr" noise from under the hood, occurs after about 35 mph, not really noticeable after 60 or so due to wind/road noise. It is more noticeable upon letting off the gas from around 50 mph. Very annoying with no radio on, bearable with music on. I was wondering if anyone else has this same "whirr" on their '22...? My dealership said it is just inherent to this turbo with this CVT.

Is this "whirr" sound still a thing? Would it be possible to record it and post it on youtube?

If it has a turbo then it's going to "whir". That is the turbo moving air. Not really anything that you can do about it but get used to it.

I drove a newer 22 at the dealership with the service manager and we found that it makes the "whirr" sound too...but it's very slight and just the way the turbo works. Just keep the radio on and you won't notice it. @@Antiorganizer

Has the 3rd generation rogue improved in terms of reliability with CVT?
@ofcbob639111 ай бұрын
I've had my 22 Rogue SV FWD for a year and half now, the drivetrain has been just great. Getting 31 mpg overall. I think Nissan has really worked on the latest CVT to make it smooth and reliable. Master mechanics say just change out the CVT fluid every 30K miles to be on the safe side to make it last.

How can nissan as a brand have so many issue and still be profiting
@jd3521 Жыл бұрын
Lol! Buy a Dodge vehicle and you will understand issues! My transmission died at 103,000 km! ($4600) The water pump squeaked at 60,000 km, the thermostat failed at 90,000 km. The OEM rotors warped at 90,000 km. The HVAC LED randomly works at 80,000 km. The OEM stereo, randomly turns off and has internal short which slowly kills the battery at 90,000 km. I had to replace the battery three times. Oh, the alternator failed at 60,000 km. Dodge 2013 Grand Caravan. Never again buy American vehicle again.

@jd3521 it's not only American vehicles. ALL vehicles are made with cheap Chinese and Mexican parts. Your "hard" physical parts come from China and most electronic connections and wiring harness are made in Mexico. As a matter of fact, Dodge is no longer an American company because it is owned by Stellantis now. That's why they're doing away with the Hellcat engine platforms after '24. Have a great day my fellow interneter😂
