I think the fun more comes from the effortless power and pure comfort/refinement, plus just how solid and built they feel IDK when I Had mine, the engine wasn't that great to rev out, but that's the same as 95% of NA cars, and they do feel heavy

I'm not sure why the JDM skyline sedans skipped on the manual. It is an injustice to the skyline. My car is basically the 350GT version of this. I have a 2007 Infiniti G35S with 306HP powering the rear wheels through a sensational 6 speed manual from the factory. It also came with factory upgraded sports seats, brakes and suspension. The car is nuts and very cheap here in Canada. What a bargain for such a fun, practical sports sedan that has no equivalent Japanese rival. It is the best car I've ever driven with more power than I know what to do with.

Hey man, I have a Accord 2007 2.0 sedan, and i have clutch pedal squeaking, i noticed that you have it too, what can we do about it? i tried lubricating everything on the pedal mechanism im pretty sure its not the clutch master or slave cylinder

Same here hahaha , it happens to me when temperature changes outside 🤷🏻‍♂️, I’ve got used to it , it’s pretty annoying though , I’m using wd40 every now and then

It's the clutch master cylinder, pretty much all accords manual from this era develops this problem at some point, you can lube it up and it will go away for a bit, but it always comes back. You can replace the master clutch cylinder with a new one but it eventually squeaks as well.

I had a 350gt, so right, it's a very comfortable, relaxing thing to drive, the 350 is actually quick and obvs rwd, but sold it to get my MPS, I just prefer lighter, more dramatic agile cars Don't get me wrong they are bloody good

I think the 250G is more spacious and looks more modern inside But the accord is faster, the K20 alone is enough for the 250G

In America, it's called the Infiniti G25 G35 G37 and had a manual option. I believe the JDM versions also had a manual option.

They're definitely different cars, I mean, Skyline is a big sedan, comfy to drive and spacious. The Accord is somehow made to be more economical and lighter, thus less comfortable especially for more passengers. Both of them are coo cars.

in your video, the gear ration of 250GT is much closer than AT CL9, it's good for 0-100. AT CL9 2nd gear reach 100@6000 while 250GT over 7500

@@slimshaddyy The jzx100 would walk it in a straight line, but a itr/ctr/euro r would leave the jzx around corners. I went from a manual chaser tourer V straight in to a 98 spec dc2 type R many years ago so I have some experience in these things lol. My jzx could arc it’s 255 rears up in 3rd at 100kmh easy as and it looked and sounded so good too. Also it was comfy and quiet (well built), they have a nice carbon look interior trim too.

"The engine will never make more than 150-160KW" That's not true mate. A 50 degree VTC gear, some drop-in cams, RDX injectors, RSX oil-pump and aftermarket intake/exhaust and it easily makes more.. Get some better pistons, port the heads and fit some better valve springs for higher RPM and it can easily crack 280 horsepower. If we're talking bolt-ons only, sure.

I'm looking at moving on from my Alfa 156 and 159 and so far the front runners are the 370Gt or the Crown / Majesta - or hold out longer and pick up an Infiniti Q50 / Mark X. Coming from Alfas all of these are pretty hideous, but the maintenance bill from those cars over five years would probably buy either car in this video so there's that.... Sorry, I know different strokes for different folks but the Honda isn't something I'd consider; I think they look good, drive well and the K isn't the worst sounding thing ever made, but the manual doesn't make sense for a commuter and for fun duties the FWD cancels out rowing gears, and then the interior is just... well , all Hondas the interior is like a sandwich; it's got good stuff you need to eat and you won't be hungry after, but the design is just "here you go, meat veg and bread". At least Nissan were like "Hey let's try make it a bit exotic by using that bread roll thing the french have but wider to fit the packet ham". Then they put a payphone in the middle of the dash. Cool.

Dude the Accord is a great cat no lie but there is no way your ricer looking Honda is in the class of the skyline as the skyline is the more elegant classy ride on here and of course a euro Accord will be faster because of the gearing in that box.

The skyline? I doubt theres a single aspect to the Accord thats screwed together better than that Nissan... Materials were toned down but that there is a proper premium car from chasis to engine, cabin, insulation, etc... That same platform was used for the Nissan GTR. There's a reason for its weight...

It might be based on the platform, but I bet you almost everything is different. And absolutely the accord is screwed together better. You feel it in the steering, the doors, the indicators. It's very obvious

Having selling my 2.5 maxima and purchased a 2.4 accord, Maxima is a more comfortable car but pathetic when it comes to acceleration, BUT a the 2.4 Accord is a fun and quick car but not as comfy as Maxima. But in a long run, 2.4 accord is easy to live with and feels like an modern car, 2.5 maxima just a heavy petrol guzzler and non performance in anyway. Servicing 2.4 accord is a breeze while 2.5 maxima is truly a nightmare.

Same can be said about Honda, i would bet that half of people that hate Honda's is due to them hearing Honda's that people have installed an overwhelmingly loud obnoxious exhausts on, i'm a Honda guy but even i hate the sound of most modified Honda's. I'm strictly an intake sound guy so for me these v6 engines are a nice sound until you hear that rasp coming from the exhaust.
