it's a great swap for the Z . plenty powerful , much easier to work on than the VG , can keep the VG trans which is the same gear ratio as the SR box , and makes it more a 50/50 weight ratio , along with moving the weight to the back of the bay just over the crossmember, changing the handling characteristics for the better . i made 400hp and 370Lbft out of a stock unopened SR over an 11 yr period .. just basic bolt ons and water methanol inj . if youre serious , feel free to ask questions .i am in the process of doing the SR22 swap into my R32. .
