It depends on what you are looking for. For trans, the one in the video. Signature series Fuel Efficient. For motor if you do changes at OEM intervals use the 5w30 oe. If you want to go 1 year or up to 25 000 miles between changes try the signature series 5w30. I have all of the fluid changes on my channel and the ones that I used.

If you just do a drain and fill you should have no issues. People sometimes have issues with a transmission flush when the transmission has been neglected, because a flush can move dirt around and cause issues in other spots. Pull the drain plug, measure what you take out and refill that amount.

Just wondering what brand of filter/gasket you used? I have read about the ATP ones bulging out when the pan is tightened up. Leaning towards the Pioneer over the ATP but they are now the same company...Just want a good gasket that won't leak on me. @TitanTown
@TitanTown 2 жыл бұрын
You don't have a filter you have a screen. It is replaceable but also reusable. It you do a drain and fill you need about 4.5 quarts. If you drop the pan to clean the magnets or change/clean the filter screen then you need about 5.5 quarts.

@TitanTown

Drain and fill using plug only gets about 4.5 quarts out. If you drop the pan you get about 5.5 quarts out. You can't drain the whole system.
@gutaroker90

@@TitanTown You can drain the whole thing! Just a little more labor intensive. You spill fill, unhook line running to trans cooler and turn on the truck and push the fluid out. "Poor Mans Flush"

@@gutaroker90 there are disadvantages to that. Nissan doesn't recommend a flush and if you run it dry you can cook your Trans.

That's BS. Nissan Doesn't make their fluids, they just want to sell you their branded fluids. Make sure it's the right type. I've been using AMSOIL transmission fluid 6 years and my transmission runs cooler now than it did with the factory fill. Heat will kill a transmission.
