Thanks i appreciate the compliment! I am also a Toyota guy but wanted to try out a Xterra. The Titan swap was just too intriguing!

I bought my 2012 pro 4x with similar dreams in mind but family has grown and it just does not fit our lifestyle anymore. It is now for sale because I know someone out there will do it justice.

Yeah I’m sure someone will scoop it up the Xterra is just a solid capable off-roading rig.

That is extremely cool and you did an amazing job on everything. How much weight does that whole wooden drawer system add tho omg 😮
@trailxploration8 ай бұрын
I’m going to weigh it when I get back home from this trip but I estimate 180-200 lbs. kinda like having a full size adult in the back seat. The parabolic springs need some weight to perform correctly. This thing rides so good with those springs.

Amazing build. Will be following! So what did you do with the void under the back where the spare was? Thats a good location to build in a steel box for Air compressors or power accessories etc. with the spare on the rear.

Yeah nothing just yet may find a use for the area in the future.

Awesome build! I've been looking at getting a used xterra as my first off-road vehicle. Size-wise i just like it much better than a 4runner. How many miles do you have on yours and how many miles do you expect it to last? Also what are your opinions on getting the off-road/pro-4x version vs other 4wd versions without the rear lockers? Any buying tips in general?
@trailxploration8 ай бұрын
It has 109k I would expect with regular maintenance for the motor to last another 150k miles or even longer.
