Great video and for those who want to know a bit more here's some extra info and tips not covered in the video: 1) When in reversing camera mode, the scale and proportion of the 360 video looks better on the 13.1" than the 12.3" due to the taller/squarer screen 2) The Home/Radio buttons next to the temperature control dials on the 13.1" is incredibly useful, for example if you are in an app and you want to go back to Home screen you can just hit the Home button instead of swiping down from the top of the screen (multistep process) 3) You can however map the buttons on the 12.3" unit to perform certain action (for example I mapped the dimmer button to perform the Home action) 4) When in reversing camera mode, you can hit the Camera button again to get a full screen wide angle view of the rear camera (instead of the cropped view of the 360) this is incredibly useful for reversing out of driveway where your visions of incoming traffic is blocked by cars which are parallel parked on the street, or just when you need to reverse out of the parking lot. 5) The camera may occasionally play up, for example the camera comes on then screen blacks out, when this happens you just put the car back into Neutral or Drive and then back into Reverse to reactivate the camera mode.

Thanks for your input, the camera issue has been long solved with an update that we have. If you’re a customer of us please contact us asap for an update. If not you should speak to your supplier. The cameras now work on par if not better than OEM :)

Nice demo of the unit. I'm just wondering if the OEM functions like factory TPMS would work on the unit or need to hook up a 3rd party TPMS via usb?

This is a fantastic video! I am looking at getting one of these for my QX80 but I am in the middle east unfortunately. I completely get what you're saying with your rants and the only thing stopping me are those niggling issues where you may get the updates from the supplier to fix. How easy is it to get updates? If only you were based out here I would definitely be coming to you!

Thank you!! The updates from a good supplier (usually third party like us) are easy to get. If you go direct its hit and miss. Regarding OEM mic we have may have some good news soon :)

Hi Nathan, you installed mine and I’m very happy with it, I had you install the two wires for the safety Dave cameras on my caravan which work well. The only issue is when I put the car in reverse the actual cars rear camera overrides the safety Dave, is there a way to switch that off so the safety Dave stays on constantly

I own an my24 Warrior. I like the bigger higher screens. I’ve been told that most aftermarket screens (including the digital dash) are a bit laggy. Any insights ?

Thanks for the Video really good information ,we have the 12 .3" unit, supplied and fitted by a Brisbane distributor in our Y62 , we tow a Caravan with a Safety Dave duel rear camera is there any way we can we can switch between cameras, so I can monitor what is directly behind whilst driving, They installed a Camera button to switch to the caravan camera ,but I have only been able to use when reversing ? I asked the installer and they stated I would need to have another cable installed .

For both camera feeds, you will need another cable installed (it’s two cameras so two video signal) however you can have them working as full time images regardless of reversing or not. That is pretty easy to wire up :)

Great info, thank you.. For all those who are wrapping their interior.. Can this be pulled apart and wrapped prior to instal? Would that be a DIY possibility too? wrapping to match the interior and then installing? (yes its probably a bit pedantic)

Thanks buddy. I got the 13 incher for my 2018 armada. Video really helped out with installing especially the wiring and changing settings segments. But how do change the front air from Celsius to Fahrenheit?

You can change the temperature mode to Fahrenheit in the settings.

Ive purchased a series 5 with the 13 inch screen. Its amazing but i dont think its from a good third party supplier, because my aircon controls are back to front. Not a major but it annoys me. Do you sell a software update to fix this issue?

Ok, I didn't know since some of the models like the 18 qx80 had a dial 3 level mode hot/cold may have plugged straight in. Thank you for the quick response!! I plan on ordering one soon. Will there be any issues for it going into an qx80, and will this be usable for the USA models?

DVD is removed. No way of retention but also every single DVD can be download as a file and put on usb or streamed via internet on these units

Hi, Have you experienced any issues of the screen not showing an image after an update was completed? Is so, did you resolve it by press any of the buttons on the Left Hand Side to restart as it doesn't do this when the vehicle is switched off.

ok you have me. I would like the 13.1 system. I did have the tesla screen and had big problems with blue tooth and radio would love u to install it not DYI as done before and you had to do some work for me?? thank you need price and time because I work in Vic but live in NSW

Any ideas how to get this working with bose sound system. There is sound output to amp. But sometime there is static noise. Also the sound is very high when vol reaches 10 or 11

@@TheFittingBay Thanks for your reply, I am in middle east and I bought the unit local from here. They have no clue about this issue. I am trying to trouble shoot it my own. Is the hardware fix to connect hi to low impedance converter?
