Nissan Z world record without the original motor?

My two opinions. 1. This car will not be recognized for any actual RZ34 record. It’s a solid axle back halved race car with a GTR engine and GM transmission. AMS currently has the fastest Z on the planet. 2. Regardless of the above comment, she’s bringing attention to the Z. So, that’s a good thing.

@SonicTuned Nissan could have accomplished so much more trying to use the VR30, and getting excitement behind the platform in a more realistic and affordable manner, that most who want to mod their Z will more than likely attempt to achieve. It would also help improve support for the VR30 instead of the the old VR38 that already has more support than most motors ever get in a lifetime. She was given huge support helping modify the car, did over $100k in mods including a completely different billet built motor, the usual GM built trans, cut the suspension out, and replaced with a 4 link, and made a car fast. Nothing new, and certainly no longer a Z, but props to her for getting the sponsorship, and making a fast car.

Pretty average time for a GTR with upgraded turbos lol should’ve just kept the cooler car all together. I’m not a fan of swaps when the original engine is so capable.

not a fan . i dont recognize the record or her " achievement " . she gets the stuff for free, other peopel do the work , she drives it , anyone could . and this is the equivalent of a big block swap with power adders. maybe a modified car record, but not a production car record. this could have been done for half the budget with the VR30 . she's a character , a youtube character. meanwhile. i dislike her so much i dont watch her stuff because im not into putting more $ into her pocket. but can tell exactly what's going on without needing to see it at the same time. she has a team and an entourage allowing this for her. this isnt hear earned work .

And I'm not mad at her , I just think her trying to take a record from actual production car classes is whack and disrespectful to z owners using factory blocks transmissions differentials etc , who are chasing the appropriate record. She's incorrectly classifying her car . There is nothing z left besides suspension basically. And the time she got is on par with modified GTR's . But with less traction be sure of trans selection. Doesn't take from that she is a KZbinr with a massive budget and or parts literally given to her and she gets paid for it on top through revenue from views and kickbacks. She doesn't do half what she makes stuff out to look like. I have known about her since her early hooligan female race series shows. And I know people who used to work at hooligan , so I do have a bit more behind the scenes understanding of how this all works. It's a business. And she pays people to do the mechanical. You don't have to agree. Clearly more do though, than don't.

Love the Z build content from Emilia, but calling fastest Nissan Z with VR38, GM drag trans and custom rear end is it really a Nissan Z. I know that in Drag terms there a lot of micro-records for being manual/auto, rwd/awd, stock turbo location, etc. but that's like saying that Jorge Lazcano (RIP) has the fastest 350z & 370z when those cars are full drag cars running 5s

You have to realize the world record for the Nissan GTR R 32 is not using the factory 2.6 RB. instead, it uses RB 30 It’s the same thing this car it’s using a VR 38 instead of VR 30.

VR30 swap the GTR….. she has a brand new GTR and a VR30 motor left after this build why not? In my opinion, it would’ve been really cool to see her fully built a VR 30 or even freaking put the new VR 35 in it that would be absolutely cool as hell for her to do something unique is that By for her and Nissan mainly Nissan to throw away money on this kind of boring it’s cool. We’ve seen all of this before the old Nissan was innovative.

This is not the fastest VR30 in the world the fastest Z with a VR30 is by Lazcano racing, which holds the world record on the quarter mile with a 5.93 remember the news it’s on a Z34 platform so she’s not holding no record

People are in their feelings about the claims of being the fastest because they themselves can't do what she has done to achieve such claims. At the end of the day its a dragster built with Nissan parts and presented from its exterior as a Z. If Nissan didn't build and develope the car is it still a Nissan? If any car is modified does it become less of what it was? Its all subjectivity based on how you feel.😅

If a Z came to a car meet with a R35 swap people would definitely pay respects to the built, it equivalent to a 240z with a RB26

@ I’m saying this in my opinion, we have seen what the GTR can do potential wise already, we have seen 350z , 370z , New Z with VR38 swaps already so this was very boring to see. NOW if she did 2000 whp with building the VR30 this would be on the news as no one has passed 1000whp on the VR30. This has nothing to do with content, who she is non of that it’s just lame because it’s played out already let the VR38 sleep. Build the VR30 l.

Its sad that Nissan went this route and shoot themselves on the foot... It took a GTR VR38 swap to run the same time A90 are running with their own engines with bolt ons. The Z should have come with either a closed deck VR30 or a VR38 from factory.

@dankolicious10 good for you, there are many unopened engines pushing 1k, doesn't mean they do it reliable and most break couple likes in.
