After coming to Nit Sikkim you must say "Heaven is under your feet as well as over your heads" Talking about internet and network connectivity you can easily download any movie within 3-5 min with hostel wifi. All the faculties are well Educated and PhD holders. Talking about civil Engineering branch. This year we got 7 placements and it is improving year by year.....One of the main reason of low placement States is that most of the students are preparing for competitive exam's like ESE/IES, GATE, SSC JE, UPSC etc... If you are getting a chance to became a part of Institute of National Importance. Grab it without any confusion.

There's so much wrong information regarding NIT Sikkim in this video . I'm currently second year btech student here and it's a newly established NIT so don't expect that dream package of 50 lakhs because that's not possible for 10 years old NITs Rest when you came to know about that almost 60-70% of electrical students gets placement in PSU like power grid and overall placement rate is also improving year by year. So please consider all the facts while reviewing any college NIT Sikkim also has a PARAM series of super computer which is even not in any NIT...So consider each and every aspect while reviewing any NIT
