I was just looking at the larger model a couple days ago. I’m not sure how I feel about the lack of spill (more of a thrower it looks like). But, this shorter version has plenty of lumens for my edc needs and would take up a lot less space compared to my current daily carry light. Thanks for the review and the comparison between the two models. That gave me some really good info to consider.

Definitely a thrower. For spill and flood I recommend the Acebeam Pokelit (especially the gray with 1000 lumens) or a Lumintop AA.

Issue I have with nitecore is proprietary batteries and awful CRI. I like so many of their designs but those are deal killers for me. Thanks for the vid. Cheers!

Handsome flash lights. My EDC flash light is a $2.00 Walmart pen light, Definitely doesn't perform like the Mc1pro. Really nice Light. Thanks' for the review.
