The TM09K Pro is a triple nontuple LED light. I don't think there is any term of comparison at this time. It is obviously a first-timer, experimental flashlight that I'm very happy to purchase and test. The TM09K Pro is a 2000 Lumens flashlight capable of some short but powerful blasts of light. The true innovation of this light is the capability of switching from being a floodlight to being a searchlight, depending if the centre LED or the eight corona LEDs of each nonuple module are activated. This is a serious achievement of optical engineering, but we are all baffled if why the most serious innovation introduced with the TM09K Pro - the flood/search beam switch - works only on the brightest temporary mode. It would have much more rational to have two coaxial control rings - one for the control of the overall brightness, the other controlling the flood/search beam topology.

@weerapatkiatdumrong Namaskar, seen many of your Videos in order to make a choice for suitable tactical flashlight, for the stroboscope mode the fenix TK16R seemed really effective! But has no charge option at the light, so my options now are the p91, klarus xt11/21 n maybe i even wait for New 2025 fnx Modells.. Man so much light 🌞😎🤣

I really like your reviews! I have nitecore p20ix, edc33 , edc35 and fenix tk16 v2 but for me the numero uno is the edc35 I really fall in love with the edc35 and here is my thought for the built in battery guys, you wouldn't like to buy a really great flashlight because of the bulit in construction but I guess that text which you written from the newest iPhone which also has a bulit in battery 😂 how many $ the newest iPhone is? 😅

Hello sir. They are different sir. TM9K Pro can't give you a long sustained brightness because it's a tactical flashlight designed for self defense. @@weerapatkiatdumrong Already subscribed. Oh sorry about that. I think the way to activate the strobe is to customize it by holding down the mode button to lumin shield and click once the power button so that it can be changed to strobe. Try it. EDC25 works that way.

the beam profile .. it's not like a full floody anymore.. EDC33,EDC35, tm9k pro same kind a beam profile.. i personally prefer the previous one.. tm9k tac... because tm9k, p10ix, P20ix..famous for floody beam not mix beam.. it still good flashlight though ..anyway it just my POV :)

I had reached out to Nitecore prior to this light being released and encouraged them to release am updated TM9K but to only change the middle section of the TM9K. To leave all of the surrounding leds where they were and to just put a semi deep smooth reflector in the middle for throw and to have a toggle switch added to the body of the light to switch between flood and throw, that way we don't lose that amazing flood. For whatever reason they went with this design which is a bummer but I'll probably still end up getting it anyways lol

I have considered this since it came out. Its now 5 months later and this again is on sale on Amazon. It would have to cost at least half as much before I would even consider it. The runtimes are pathetic, Yeah I Get It Shield and Search are burst modes but 10 seconds only??? The highest stainable output is a feeble Medium mode at 500 lumens, only 5260cd for 145 meters? That means useable light only to about 50 meters. Flashlights that do not have a useful stainable output are of NO use to me. Nitecore do better.
