Sir, As per the astronomical data provided in Ramayana, the time period can be placed close to 7000 years from current time. All three astronomical events as per the recent software calculations are matching. So the time period has been concluded. So we can rule out the theory of Neanderthals and denizovens. Both the races were long gone before Ramayana events. But the descendants of denizoviens , interbred with modern humans are still existing. They have a slightly larger physique than the average man. The vanaras could be something like that with facial features resembling monkey. A lot of interpolations could have happened in the long time period. Coming to the Astra, it could be psychic in nature for which the physical arrow used only as a means to deliver the power. Exaggeration is completely allowed in poetic format. Also symbolism (10 heads of Ravana means he was that much intelligent). The question I have is, why Rama sought the help from Vanaras instead of the powerful Pandiya king. There was also a story of Ravana being defeated by a Pandiya king. If that is the cause, naturally Rama should have asked help from the Pandiya king. We can only speculate what and how things could have happened but may not be able to record a solid history like Raja Raja Cholan built the Tanjore temple. One thing I understand is that the ancients used psychic powers (not the whole mankind but some) and we use (whole mankind) scientific technology Eg some gifted with television internally, now almost all use television externally. We can go on speculate but only thing we can conclude is that we don't know or know very little.

The artist painted like that..for marketing purpose?.. Visual impression is very powerful.. It starts from children pictorial books,stage dramas,from tv serials,movies..
