People watching it for the first time shouldn't feel like she had feelings for Pazham, but while re-watching it, they need to see the pain even in normal happy go scenes. Nithya's character in Thiruchitrambalam is not simple. At times she felt like Pazham's caring sister (when she was supporting him when he was down), sometimes she felt like a teasing friend (when she makes fun of his love failure), and sometimes she felt like his protective mother (when she confronted those people who bullied pazham). Nithya has flawlessly gone through different shades. It felt effortless bcz Nithya was effortless with her performance.

I don’t understand y this is even discussed for me Nitya Menon and sai pallavi are both exceptional performers. They are both performance oriented ppl. Nitya’s recognition was long overdue she has been in the industry as a leading actress since 2008 and we have seen the choices she makes. So let’s not fight and enjoy the moment. Sai will get her due credits when the right time comes she is also already a great star performer we should be proud of both such women instead of fighting over them. Lol, citing some no bodies and saying Sai's performance is better. When in reality Nithya's performance was better. Sai's performance was similar to other actors who did similar characters, while Nithya's performance was way better than actors who did similar characters. Also Nithya protrayed more layered performance. Just bcz something is sentimental, doesn't mean it's better. Lol, many of such sentimental performances are flat. Subtility of her performance is more hard to pull off than some superficial OTT emotions. Nithya has done characters in other spectrum too, like her performance in Psycho. She is equally good in that too. But, man her performance in Thiruchitrambalam is something. She is the queen of subtility, if anyone wants to know about that, just watch rmakes of her movies and see how others did the same character she did. Even if it's for some seemingly light stuff she potray deep emotions without going OTT. Remakes of Bangalore Days, OK Kanmani, Ishq etc porved it. And everyone can see it themselves if they watch it. She can give different dimensions for it. And totally elevate it. That is some elite skills, so are u saying such performance shouldn't be rewarded? And respectfully, Sai's performance didn't have this much attention to details.
