@@michaelsaint7325 Hi Michael. I like my printer but keep in mind that if you plan to print technical materials such as ABS you will have to get an enclosed one or close it somehow like I did. This is really important. Also I use CATIA professionally but I also like and use Fusion 360 which is great. You don't need anything more than that. Good luck!

Your neighbours are gonna love you for this great invention. I was sick of all the noise and pollution from my electric motor. This seems much more green to me.
@EliteWorm5 жыл бұрын
Of course! They couldn't be more grateful for this. It was a nightmare for them to hear the electric motor at 5 am in the morning... Even birds are thanking me for all the smoke I'm producing and they sing as a reverence! Too bad it only lasted for a single day... After recording this video I decided to go back to the dark side of being silent and eco-friendly. Thanks for your comment! 😊

Yes, but this guy uses a two-stroke engine... In addition, the fuel for nitro is mostly methanol + nitromethane and a little bit of lubricant. As you may know, nitromethane and burning oil are not the most environmentally friendly components, but they allow the nitro engine to produce phenomenal power. And so yes, this engine can run on methanol and lubricants.

i saw that the engine still had plenty of torque at max speed that could potentially be used for a higher top speed. A different gear ratio isn't an option, since the engine would struggle to, or not even launch without help. A variable transmission (such as in a moped) would be perfect to take advantage of the full potential of this engine, and with your genius engineering you would be more than capable to incorporate one in this build. I hope you consider my idea and sorry for my bad english (not a first language).

Small nitro engines makes INSANE hp for their size. If this engine was only 100cc in size it would produce 78HP. That’s insane. But, it’s only 3.5cc and it produces about 2.5-2.7hp. Also, they make much larger .50 sized nitro engines. And even .21 engines that are much more powerful than the one that you used.

One detail, it seems like the gears are not made with the optimal tooth design. A belt design might be better for less friction an noise.
