The power wheels motor mount/plate works fine . If you have kids and power wheels rip it off that . Instead waiting for part. . And they have two hight torque brushed 540 or 550. If anyone one needs those. Basicly you can salvage motor and mount/plate from power wheels cars

I hope you changed your mind about doing this!! If not I'm sure by now you've figured out that no matter what you do to the tmaxx it just does not hold up to brushless. Not surprising since the Traxxas brushless rtr's barely hold up to 4s.

you should try 2050kv with 4s I have a traxxas 2.5 chassis (don't know if that makes a difference) but it hauls ass.

my T-maxx runs 6S on a 2250KV motor.... It is allmost uncontrollable... It does wheelies at 45mph.... LOL... My friends 8S X-maxx can't keep up!
