Thanks for the location on the acme tank. Ordered that day and received six days later from the UK. I've bought new old stock tanks before, and the seams or internal fuel lines failed. Zero issues with acme! Thanks for sharing my friend.

I just picked one of these up for $50 a few weeks ago! such good trucks. awesome to see you feature it in a great vid. they start so well and it is definitely one of my favorite nitros. the reverse feature blows people away and having drill start is awesome. Cheers mate. keep nitro alive!!!

Hey I have an MGT 8.0 AND it's just like the tiger but it has 2speed n reverse plus neutral. So I'm looking for a one way bearing. The Roto start on mine has been broken for years.

That awesome runs good Iv got a mta4 am doing a full rebuild on it just upgraded all the bearing even in the transmission rpm hubs all round and a Hpi f4.6 engine with side exhaust savage pin wheels 👍🏽

Brilliant trucks I have 4 of these in my collection only thing I dont like is when cornering at high speed 1 front wheel lifts but this can be fixed with harder springs 👍👍

That’s a great find mate. I was lucky enough to find a TT sledgehammer S50 new in box early this year. These classic nitro trucks are very hard to come by Did I hear your one shifting into second gear bit too early?

Yes gear changing timing needs a little adjustment :)

If you still have this the aluminum tuned pipe from an HPI Savage X 4.6 really makes a difference to the performance on the engine and look at doing the dual tank mod.

Josh got my torro back today from a hobby shop they tuned it up better apparently. I put a new hump pack in turned on got steering but no throttle it was all wet inside I cleaned it as best as I could dried out the receiver but still no throttle do you think the throttle side of the receiver is knackered moves a tad a few mm help 😆

Brilliant stuff I have 2 of these one is still brand new in the box there both MTA4 SLEDGEHAMMER S50s they are so much better an the S28s. Also have 2 gears and 1 revers they wheelie for days you can also get twin fuel tanks on this model truck Same with the S50 and alloy hop ups to please put some more videos up of this

Trouble is I couldn't find the grub screw separately, it's a different type with a pin that goes through the middle. had to buy a new drive cup!

What glow plug igniter do you use? I have one from the local hobby shop but it doesn't lock onto the bigger glow plugs.

I use a Prolux easy glow igniter usually, the one in this video is a 4500mah one, can't remember the make

@@TheRCBiker ok thanks. One more question. I got a new hyper 7 and got it broken in. It seems though that the front wheels pull more than the back wheels push. Do you know what that could be? I would say differential but its also a new car and don't think they wear out that fast.

@@TheRCBiker it might just be me mate. As i took my ftx carnage out other day and front n back on right side wheels were slanted. But every thing on it lower arms and that are all updated to blue aluminium. So iv got to c wats wrong with that. N i want to take my 1/8 hyper out but dont know if to or not as iv put the hyper 30 turbo on my hyper vs buggy n its all new engine. Iv got heater to warm engine up first wat wud u say take it out or wait for summer next year mate.
