Nitrous vs Turbo Staging Dual at Lights Out 8!!!

Klugger and Coxwell had a decent staging dual at Lights Out 8 in a classic Nitrous vs Turbo showdown during Round 1 Eliminations. Klugger came out on top when Coxwells car shut off rolling into the beams. It did make for an interesting show tho!!

I love turbo cars the way they pull at the big end is crazy. Nitrous is like keystone classic wheels they where cool a long time ago.

That’s cause no one knows how to drive NoS powered cars anymore there all into these staged systems and that’s why there losing a one stage system is the best way to go

Bob Falfa but turbo guys always wanna go in second. And hold nitrous cars on the converter too long. So why can't they go in late themselves

Shay Earl but a Nitrous car doesn't have to be on the brake the whole time a turbo car is bumping in.

Bob Falfa true however when a turbos in boost, in a nitrous car you want to be ready for when it bumps in and double bulb. turbo guys can bump on immediately or take their time if they want. on a nitrous car, you cant be on a trans brake very long let alone sit their at idle while the motor and trans are overheating. it happens. in the pros, getting in the beams immediately isnt the way to go unless the other guy is already prestaged.

It doesn’t ppl just don’t know how to drive NoS cars anymore there into these staged systems that don’t work properly and that’s why there losing a one stage system sprayed from start line to finish line is the way you run a NoS car, if they ran like I said they would have a chance and should be able to beat turbo cars that’s the way I used to beat supercharged cars when I raced

Javale McGee turbo cars like to stage last so they dont get hung out on the converter on boost at the line. everyone has a reason to want to stage 2nd wether it be to mess with someone or they personally like it.
