I saw them on the night of their 50th in Northampton, MA. Everyone one of them performed long solos with Jeff closing out, going cosmic!

I met these guys, cooked for these guys and hung out for a few years. They have always been THE American Treasure. No other band has stuck it out this long or had a it in so many decades. I believe this is a band that has been ignored for the royalty that they are.

I always thought they were from Canada as they seemed to tour northern bc/ab quite a bit in the early 90's. Love these guys and love finding these old concerts, this band is such a treasure! Takes me back to my teenage years.

What a glorious gem to stumble upon this am. Use to go see these guys every time they were in Lexington, KY. Just got to see them at Renfro Valley, KY last month. It was a magical night listening to these guys. Brought back a lot of memories of those 80's nights with good friends and fellow fans.

this is from Strawberry Festival at Camp Mather back in 1986. It had moved cause of a fire that happened in the region that impacted Yosemite NP and surrounding area. It had been moved and has not returned to C. Mather. This is its current website. strawberrymusic.com/strawberry-music-festival-postponed-to-2021/

@@pamcrockett4292 The reason it had to move is because of one person in S.F. in charge, who did not want it to be there. WHY??? No matter how many letters, calls, pleadings from hundreds of people, some in the S.F. City offices, the mayor, he would not return those calls. The campground re-opened and has been open to other large events, but he refused to allow Strawberry, a consistently excellent steward of the property, to return. He is, as they say in England, a knob.
