Sad to see that the Boys are, Putting out the fire, calling in the dogs and heading it back to Bull legs. Have a great retirement NGDB.

Wow! Didn’t expect ever to see early Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and Original Sha Na Na. Brings back great memories of seeing the band in the Ice House in Glendale California. What a time to discover music. You can bet a will be watching this many times. Now maybe someone can dig up video or audio from Hearts and Flowers. This is a real treasure. Thank you for sharing.

You know that's not Sha Na Na, right? That's the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. They used to spoof the 50's as part of their stage act.

Cool to see early band members Chris Darrow (RIP) and Les Thompson on the first songs. (Trivia: Jackson Browne was an early member but not for very long. The band started in 1966.) I think them doing Some of Shelley's Blues must have been not too long after Ibby joined the band (1970). The other songs are maybe from a couple of years later. Les is in all the clips and he left the band in '73

Is the Playboy after Dark '50's routine pre-Sha Na Na (1969)?
