weve run a Niu Escooter hire fleet for 6 yrs now- absolutely impressive. Not a single Bosch motor fail, the App is a godsend in a hire setup. the Panels fit and finish second to none. Compared to the other escooters on the market - its #1

No longer do NIU use Bosch motor nor Panasonic batteries. All in-house now…..

Message to NIU designers: Style is not more important than functionality. How bad is put rear rack and top box directly available with reasonable load capasity and price? Scooter without space to put helmet or some shoppings is expensive joke. I have niu and petrol scooter. The difference between them is how much I can carry shoppings. I mean one or two week foods in one load. It need test before marketing. Look at how vespa`s and top box work together.

Incredible review! I have tinnitus in both ears and this Niu MQi GT scooter is a perfect urban commuter. Carrying 60 lbs of batteries up to my apartment for charging is a hindrance, however. Battery tech must and will do better in what, 5 years or 10 years time? Your critique about the scraping the kickstand proves that your review isn't just another informational, like so many other KZbin channels. Thank you.

stand is definitely a fault… appears space for almost 45deg of further travel. Disappointing that’s reviewed as a design feature rather than fixing

Ordered it as a replacement for my Niu NGT (which has an excellent centrestand) and will get it 6th of May in NL. The centrestand I emailed my concerns about to the Dutch Niu importer before and they forwarded it to China. Let's see if this (second) batch is improved!!🤞🏼

So that centre stand… is there a bit of slack in it that could be taken up by a stronger spring or is it the case that the frame design and the stops beneath it mean that there’s no more room for a stronger spring to raise the stand into? If the latter, that seems like a clumsy design flaw that will stop me buying one. Thanks for the quality review, though I’d have loved to see a clearer top down shot of the under seat storage.
@dotternetta2 жыл бұрын
There are more reviews online. Under seat storage only fits the charger and cables, which the NGT didn't

Make a long term review of this niu scooter maybe 50k miles review to test how reliable electric scooter is
@Y2Kvids2 жыл бұрын
That would require 833 charges which would take about 4.5 years of charging every other day.

I'd buy a bicycle instead of an electric scooter such as this. Then, the only range limit is how fit I am(& the saving of the cost of buying this scooter can be used to buy an electrically assisted bicycle, until I'm fit enough to cycle further)Another plus to cycling is, the cost of all the lycra is way less than the cost of the PPE to ride the scooter.

So it is a joke then .60 mile range is crap .I would rather have a 100 cc four stroke and have the range ,.Now that electricity is not cheap a 100 cc would be cheaper to run

I don't understand why MCN is promoting Chinese brands given the current political situation. Surely anyone with a conscience would be giving Chinese stuff a wide berth wherever possible? What’s next, full page ads for Russian oil?

Useless cr..! Not only are batteries extremely polluting to manufacture, but so is their use AND their disposal.
@trialsta12 жыл бұрын
Thats just utter nonsense, disproved over and over again by every study that isn't sponsored by an oil company. Manufacturing anything will have an environmental impact, theres no denying that, but the lifetime impacts of electric vehicles are lower than ice. What kind of a moron would throw away batteries full of valuable minerals that can be recycled and reused? Can you reuse oil thats been burnt?
