Hello. My Niu NGT is 5 years old... but only 5000 kms!!! I use it to go to the city center and some short trips. I am very happy with it. I'm glad to see that with the years and the kilometers, it ages very well. Thank you for sharing your experiences with our little motorcycle!!

Hi, thanks for the nice video. My NGT has developed increasing problems. First it started to reboot even without the keys in it, like your did. I had a few of these during driving as well. A few weeks ago it shut down more or less completely during driving, while the beep sounded a couple of times. This happened multiple times per minute, worse on bumpy roads. My dealer couldn't find the issue. They tried updating the firmware, but even with help from China it didn't update. I saw lots of different error codes appear. I'm in the process of changing it out for a newer one, but you don't think all these issues would disappear with the smart service paid again, right? If I could even connect it, because probably nothing works anymore... :(

@@JoerivanderKloet did you try to reboot the mcu? As you do not have the option via app, you need to take batteries out and wait for the backup to discharge (2-3 days). I had only the problems with the reboot and once a complete stop which I recovered with a reboot. Nod it’s working without issues

@@prometeusz.jasinski It's at the retailer and I think they tried pretty much everything. They tried updating the firmware and it keeps crashing. Niu China gave it a try and they couldn't make it work either. Niu technical support here suggests it could be the FOC, which is a 1000 euro part. I'm going to sell it for parts I'm afraid...

Würdest du die Michelin City Grip empfehlen um damit im Winter zu fahren? Oder lieber Ausschau halten nach einem geeigneterem Reifen für den Winter? Ich habe echt Schwierigkeiten mich zu entscheiden. Freue mich übrigens jedes Mal über neue Updates von deinem Roller! Finde das immer spannend. Wieso auch immer ㄟ(≧◇≦)ㄏ

So lange kein Schnee liegt, sind die auch bei tiefen Temperaturen gut. Bei Schnee braucht man mehr Profil. Bei Eis hilft Nix.

I think the argument here is that the ecu is faulty and out of warranty. They do not fix this software problem as newer versions might be without this issue. So I need to replace the ecu by a newer one or pay for the service. Second option was cheaper for me.

Yeah i thinks so cuz i bought a used one but service was expired.Got strange errors like 67 or even 99.The spare battery which power up the ecu also get weaker it can cause all these weird issues.

Mine also cut off showing zero battery.Speed also slower.I need to renew the niu service first then see whats next. Did u check the ecu battery %? Im thinking when the battery is out of juice and i could be after 5 yrs that ll cause all these weird issues because the ecu controles everything.

I payed for the service there are no issues so far now.Never let the battery of the ecu drain.Next step upgrade keyless remote because mine is older and need a key to start.

The system is powered permanently from the dc/dc converter, when batteries are connected (this is not the case for the mqi evo or 100). The dc/dc converter is actually responsible for the fast battery drainage when parking the scooter.

Hallo Mathias, kurze Frage. Du bist ja 1,91m groß. Beim Fahren stehen durch den hohen Boden die Knie schon relativ hoch. Wird das nicht unbequem mit der Zeit? Ich bin 1,88m und möchte mir auch einen NIU NQI GTS kaufen. Habe aber diesbezüglich noch Bedenken. VG

Ich kann nur empfehlen eine Probefahrt zu machen. Während der NGT mit seinem gebogenen Lenker bei mir ganz gut passt, waren beim MQI EVO die Hriffe zu tief für mich beim einschlagen.

@@prometeusz.jasinski Probefahrt ist schwierig. Der nächste Niu Händler ist 100 km weit weg. Ich werde ihn einfach kaufen. Den gibt es gerade für einen Superpreis von 2499€.

Wieder mal ein klasse Video von dir. Hast du bei deinem schon mal das Potentiometer (Fehler 140 beim NQI GTS 80km/h Version) tauschen müssen? Gude, Panasonic, Tacho 77kmh gps 70kmh, 70-80km auf der Autobahn bis man im battery save mode mit 18kmh unterwegs ist.

En Alemania, los productos Ali Express son problemáticos porque necesitan aprobación, por lo que no quieres tener problemas con el seguro en caso de accidente. Por eso compro los productos originales a distribuidores que a su vez los compran al importador KSR. Los precios no son mucho peores que en AliExoress.

My 2022 model has had electrical issues non stop. At the moment it's been broken with a Error 123 since May and NIU Spain has not helped here in Malaga ever since. The bike is under gaurentee and not NIU Spain neither NIU global is assisting me. As far as after sale assistance go it's the worst from any company I've experienced in my life. At 45y of age this has been the worst purchase of my life.

Did you try an ecu reset through the app? Alternatively unplugged the batteries for 4 days.

@@prometeusz.jasinski it's the the same as yours but the 2022 model. No, I still have gaurentee until next year August but neither NIU or the Spanish importar is doing anything to help. The official NIU store closed in Málaga and after almost a year they still haven't found a new official mechanic to fix the bike. It's been a nightmare. The after sale service of NIU is extremely bad. I've had issues with the breaks, and kickstand. They took two months just to fix my breaks, and now it's still not fixed. Horrible experience, honestly I would never recommend anyone to buy NIU.

the frame broke so but now is welded.terrible the paint on the frame peels off the design is poor too.i wont buy any niu again only a donor hardware and convert a petrol scooter.

@@prometeusz.jasinski i ll maybe later but but it broke in 10 pieces.I was lucky nothing happend u feel only that the hole back panels even the seat is sinking.But now i put her together.The desing of the frame is a joke and the paintjob is really wtf like they didnt apply primer in some spots.Keep eye on the weld spots rust is eating steel.

Für Niu gibt es keinen Händlernetz mehr Deutschland weit, wo auch die Roller reparieren kann, Die waren mal gut aber ohne Werkstatt kann man diese Marke nicht mehr empfehlen!!
