I like that they use regular meshes instead of voxels for the characters. Voxels are cool for structures and such, but organic stuff rarely looks right in this style.

Personally I'm not a fan of the characters/NPCs having a more realistic look but it's not stopping me from anticipating this games release

Could even RP Nivalis as your V with the Ending you can get from the DLC where you survive but lose your Cyberware, and just pretend their in the same setting and V has moved cities to settle down.

definitely missed this yep! fully in love with that map. i feel like this game has the potential to scratch a very particular and under-scratched itch (if they manage to pull it off really well obviously) the relationship graph thing during dialogue is interesting, i'm not sure how i feel about it. i like that it's more nuanced/complex than just a linear measurement of how much a character likes you, but i'm a bit skeptical of the idea that the player character can just tell exactly how other characters feel toward them (i know it maybe isn't actually a canonical ability of the player character, but in terms of ludonarrative it could be a bit weird). idk i'm still very intrigued by it and very much looking forward to the game's release thanks as always for concise quality videos without the grating over-editing and wacky voiceovers that plague gaming yt

Never played Cloudpunk. In fact I've never even heard of it prior to my contact with Nivalis. Nivalis looks quite simply: Beautiful. I want to play that game.

I never got platinum in cloud punk since if you miss some actions you cannot do it again and need to new game etc. Hope this game has easy plat! 🙏

For a game that is supposed to come out this year. The marketing is low to none sadly. I wish this game would het more traction because ot looks amazing. But you dont really hear about it. Summer Games fest just concluded and i did not see any trailer there. Missed opertunity.

We need a game like this, but it should be like Habbo. Online PVE. i want to also talk to real/chat with real people. if it were VR and a growing map with each update and increasing storyline and quests. that would be the best game ever.

No, sounds horrible to me. I want to be in nivalis on my own, without having other people grief and fuck up my experience.
