I’m pretty sure when you turned off your industrial districts, you had one that was generating oil in some way, because your oil shortage instantly went up after you started shutting them down. This game really forces you to pay attention. So many things are interacting once you get to a certain point that the results of turning them on and off aren’t always straightforward, and the game certainly doesn’t tell you lol. I do wish there was a menu that broke down all your districts and their buildings into a list format.

It was the logistics districts because they are the connection points for the imported oil. Not really a good idea to close them down.

You can also build the coal -> oil industry thing. Coal Liquifier(?). Oil is twice as good as Coal for heating. And if im not mistaken the Generator Upgrade will boost your Oil to Heat conversion even higher.

Turning off your Logistics You loss whatever your teams are bringing in for the time there are turn off... Your oil was around -280 now its around -500 And again. Dont try to make the game harder (; Stock more up on stuff haha Think Coal Liquefactors will be a good one Remember to use your frostlands teams more. So they dont just sit around
