12:53 I view the "Modify Death" archetype less like an aristocrats strategy, but moreso a midrange strat that compensates you for frequently attacking and forcing trades in combat.

Amonkhet had -1/-1 counters as a cost for effects, black white could really have used a modification that kills creatures, seems hamfisted currently.

I think you'll be able to go into 3 colors pretty often and end up with a more robust deck

Wouldn't be worth it, I don't think. You would have to get both of the BG energy rares to even consider it, and have a lot of energy stuff AND a lot fixing of the right colours. Plus, the green enchantment doesn't seem that good even if you have a lot of energy, at least in Limited.

I get the feeling that having a good curvenwill be hugely important in this set. Aggro runs against growing vreatures, control can't kerp wall good tempo.
