I love your last option. Your bed should not be exposed

Yes. I agree. I love the bed in the back so much more

How do you like sleeping by the door? Is it quiet?
@RhondaIeasha2 жыл бұрын
Sometimes I heard people talking as they walked by, but it didn’t really bother me. Plus my tv was typically always on

Lol wow we are going thru the same motions and decisions with the apt changes decisions! 😭

Crazy enough I was watching your recent videos like “why does sis look so familiar?!” and then I realized last year I was watching your vermella reviews too! (They should partner with you because you put them on the map!) lol

They definitely should!

I would go with option 2 depending on the distance between the couch and the TV. Did you ever think about putting up a sheer nude or white curtain where your bedroom is to block it off a little bit. I’m actually moving to Vermella this week!
@RhondaIeasha3 жыл бұрын
Yes…I thought about the curtain but I don’t think I want to sleep in the area at all anymore. & Welcome. You will love it!

Hi was wondering how you like the union location? I was going to see an apartment there but reviews said it was load. I guess because all the amenities...so I recently went to see the East location and didn’t like the area. I’m moving from nyc. Do you of any new construction buildings? Or buildings you would recommend.
@RhondaIeasha2 жыл бұрын
I love the Union location, I haven’t had any issues with noise but I guess it depends on what side of the complex you end up on. DM me on IG @kissedbyrhonie if you need further assistance with finding apartments

Hey love. The current bedroom space would be better converted to a small living space. Sofa/chaise where the bed is. On the wall that the door is on - attach a swivel mount and put the tv there. It’s flat and flush against the wall when you’re not there and you can rotate it to face the sofa/chaise where the headboard currently is. Nice rug + maybe a led pendant light or wall sconces to bring in some light. The back should be your personal area. Unless you can put the bed where you mentioned in option 2 and place CHIC room dividers around the foot and other side of the bed. Further down by the foot of the bed but towards the window you can place a sofa facing the wall your floor length mirror is on and tv there so when the divider is down (when you have no company) you can see the tv from the couch, bed and possibly the kitchen too. I say toss all the furniture. Start from scratch so you have cohesion. ❤️

I love your videos! I go to Kean & plan on moving there when I graduate soon. All that furniture to waist is a shame. Pls don’t throw it away I’ll gladly take it 😭

Thank you. I didn’t throw anything away, there are too many people out here in need. Everything was either sold or given away.

I would make the front my living space that way the back is strictly personal space I use to live in a studio n trust me a nice small couch would work in that space

I think I like your original idea to turn your current bedroom to office and maybe possible clothing storing if you find cute pieces that can camouflage as both. Love the bed you want to get. Another option could be search for a similar idea with drawer space on it. I’m torn about my vote for the couch lol. I wanna say keep it and put it in storage but then I feel like you can always get a new couch when you’re ready to move again.

For small spaces you need smaller furniture. Period... buy light colored furniture... it makes a big difference... 👍 Good luck

I say option 2 with the living area in the front & save the couch for future use

You have such great furniture pieces! I think having a separate office space is super beneficial and preferred in my opinon. You could sell the couch for a smaller piece such as sofa or loveseat. Get a storage bench/ottoman to separate the bedroom/livingroom. I would put the bed on the current vanity wall. That wall creates privacy as well as shelving for personal items. Leave the TV where it is and maybe upgrade to swivel mount so you can move it in the direction that you want for guests. Lastly, the office space could still be a entertaining space when needed.

I think I’m going to have to play around with the new pieces in the different spots to see how I like it. Thank you for your insight 😊

I actually prefer the current layout with the separate bedroom area. I think once you get smaller furniture and a new bed, it will breathe new life into the current layout.

found your channel doing a search cause i live in vermella east in kearny and i love these properties. have you ever considered a sleeper sofa/sofa bed? i lived in a one-room, no alcove or separate kitchen space studio for 5.5 years when i first moved up north jersey and i did a sofa bed. i also have one now in my living room for my overnight guests. i know it’s not ideal for everyone cause the mattresses are slimmer but you can make them comfy and fluffly and then just put your bed up if you have guests. it saves so much room and with smaller spaces, all pieces need multiple purposes. just a thought 😊 if not, i really don’t think you should sleep by the door anymore, great call! so using that room for your office would be ideal, i would still keep your living/entertainment space where there are windows and natural light, not the alcove. aight, let me stop talking lol.
@RhondaIeasha3 жыл бұрын
Lol…I definitely appreciate it. I love hearing different perspectives. I think I’m too lazy for a sleeper sofa. It wouldn’t wouldn’t either be a bed or couch all the time. And I didn’t think about the lighting situation. Now I have something else to consider

Hi If you’re giving away any of the furniture I have a friend who just moved in vermella and I think she’d like it

I literally just gave away the bed. The only think left is the couch and it’s for sale
