NJ Appalachian trail section hike Southbound- Days1-3.

We are attempting to hike the NJ section of the Appalachian trail.

I hike the NJ section every year. I can't imagine doing in SOBO. You're a much braver soul than I! :-)

On Guthooks it looked easier than NOBO. I didn’t think the elevation was bad at all. The worst part of the hike was the boulders and rocks. They tore up my boots - Altras. I really enjoyed my time in the AT in NJ.

Going down that rebar ladder looked difficult. I love the NJ section of the trail.
