NJ Devils Fall To Philadelphia Flyers 1-0

The New Jersey Devils lost their last road game of the season, falling to the Philadelphia Flyers by a score of 1-0 at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, PA.
A rather uneventful game, which kept the Flyers Playoff hopes alive.

As crazy as it may sound, I'd probably go with Allen and Kahkonen again next season (sign Kahkonen to a reasonable 2 year deal), then put the money towards Tkachuck and a really solid defenseman. Both Allen and Kahkonen have been holding it down. Not sure it's worth the extra salary to go with Markstrom and Allen as the backup. I'll also say that Allen seems like a goalie who is more successful when he plays a lot. As a number two, he may struggle.

This is RISSKKKYYYYY business. I would definitely offer Kahkonen a 2 way deal to have as an insurance policy. Allen as a 1A frightens the shit outta me. At this point, I can’t see Fitz NOT getting Markstrom. He has talked too much about getting a goalie. Time will tell.

I think Kahkonen could be looked at as a starter, but it would be a gamble that Fitzgerald can't take at this point. My fear is that Kahkonen is gonna sign somewhere else for cheap and have a great year. He seems to have all the tools and is still young.

Hi again. The fact we have literally one game left is beyond me. Feels like yesterday I went to that home opener, then the game before Christmas break & got a stick. Crazy how fast time goes by. Unfortunately the Devils aren’t in the playoffs but hopefully in the off-season Fitz wakes tf up and uses this past one as a way to fix mistakes in order to become cup contenders for years to come. To successful future seasons !!

There is no better choice for a 3rd line Centre on the market than Chandler Stephenson. He is ideal choice. But the Utah Coyotes and Chicago will be spending big time this year on good UFAs and unfortunately Chandler is just a pipedream just like Tkachuk

This offseason is gonna be huge for fitz.. markstrom is a good chocie I think hes got 2 years left on his deal so its not crazy amount of years.. they have to get guys in here who can win board battles the lack of sustained ozone times drives me nuts.. its good to have the apeed to beat people off the rush but not wverything can be like that…

I wish Fitz would not have signed Palat for that money. I'd rather have Coleman as "the depth guy that knows how to win". If Calgary doesn't bounce back next season, or does trade Markstrom, it could be a sign they are embracing the rebuild and let a guy like Coleman go for futures.

I got an idea why not we trade both goalies. We trade kappo Kahkkonen to the predators for saros and Allen to Calgary. Move hischier from center to the wing. Then I’d trade Jonas for sharangoich back Dawson for miles wood back. Move Luke from pp to pk. That’s what I’d do. Now what id like to see is more content where the devils beat the rangers and sabres. Why? Bc eck is basically not only harassing the devils but devils fans.

You can switch between the two depending on if you need to talk more about what’s going on or just let a few minutes go by when the documentary is telling a longer story. Definitely go in depth, you’re pretty good at breaking down and keeping viewers interested. It would be good for a July-August video when the dog days are here. Thanks for considering.
