I moved in 2010. I saw the writing on the wall during and after the crash of 2008. Exiting tax if you wanted to move to PA. Not just that but our manufacturing was slowly desolving. Manufacturing was a great start for young people looking for employment. The company I worked for slowly but surely started sending divisions of the facility to China. It was definitely for profit but so many companies were singing the song and dance of how poor people in China were and how they were a developing nation. People going to the bathroom in holes. Now look at Chinas Military! I bet people are still going to the bathroom in holes regardless. I now see people in N.J. to be bi polar voters. We've had some of the worst governors. Christie was a corrupt slob. I get it. All I heard was how N.J. needed to get rid of that Republican and Vote Phill Murphy for Democrat. When Phill is is on his way and out, I'll hear (If not already) N.J. needs a Republican. Then people will have something else to be angry with. It simply doesn't matter which party affiliated governor Jersey folks vote for. It's the state from top to bottom that is corrupt. It oozes from N.J. 's soil and rocks. It's found it's way into the great pine Barrens and Pine lands since the 70s. In N.J. instead of saying "F#*k me sideways", the better more popular statement is and should be "TAX ME SIDEWAYS" It should be on the state flag and a sticker on every bumper of every motor vehicle. I love N.J. and a whole lot of the people there. But The property taxes and all the other taxes in Jersey should not be. I know more and more people that are making great money but left N.J. Priced out after years of Mortgage payments. One of my friends paid off there mortgage and put it up for sale just to get out of the property taxes. They left because they retired as well. It's because they actually wanted to enjoy retirement and their money rather than all the taxes they were paying. Moving away from N.J. saved me hundreds in auto insurance.
