@RantRantJoe those people are commuters who come into Manhattan to their offices or other jobs. You make it sound as if they're tourists. New Jersey is considered the suburbs. People leave the city after work then go home to the suburbs leaving city life behind where they can encounter three bears cooling off in their swimming pool.

don't blame Amtrak for delays and cancelations little do you know, most of the country amtrak runs on are owned by freight trains and sometimes they have conjestions and derailments & also the tracks are seriously jacked up all over the US so it's not Amtrak's fault

Also can we keep in mind that most countries that arent European or Chinese/japanese have HORRIBLE rail systems. Look at Australia, India, any African railway…outside of some private luxury train companies that charge thousands upon thousands you have horrible conditions and over crowding
